I was wondering, I noticed on the members page many do not donate, even animal lovers you'd think for sure would. But then, I wondered, what's the donation for? Any ideas?questionpirate

It's really mostly for sub forum making. The guild probably doesn't need any more sub forums and if it does there's probably already enough gold in the guild account. So I don't donate...
I'm certain it's nothing greedy. Pretty sure most of us have plenty to spare in case the guild needs it. But it can't be used for anything but subforums. So if there's a million subforums and people keep donating.. it's gold that just sits there unused because there's no more need for more subforums.
But I don't see a connection between donating and being an animal lover. Some people can't afford to donate, when they can barely afford to feed their own pets..

thanks for the info! I just wondered, didn't mean to come off as if I thought anyone was greedy etc.dramallama Any animal lovers guild has to be full of awesome peeps. Thanks ..now i get it. 3noddingpirate
If the donations could actually be used for anything productive I would donate. In my guild we have a mule so people can donate there instead that way we can use the gold for contests. No one every donates though so the prizes usually come out of my virtual pocket.

All I can do with the donation money is buy subforums, and there's enough in there to buy eleventy billion subforums. So yeah, I actually encourage NOT donating, lol.
