Adrian smiled at Reikou's excitment and then looked away. It was what friends did, but Adrian didn't really like to share his medical problems. People tended to treat him differently afterward. He looked at Reikou sharply. "Yeah, but don't treat me any different. I'm a little weak not helpless," he said. He pulled on a jacket and zipped up his back pack. Then he slung it onto his back. "Sorry for snapping," he said. He headed out of the room to the nurse's office.

When they got there the nurse was actually in, but he was busy bandaging up another student. Adrian went ahead into the room and sat on one of the beds. He didn't say a word as he stared up at the ceiling.

Adrian smiled a little and nodded once in comfirmaton.

In the office it didn't take long for the nurse to finish up. He then looked at Adrian and Reikou. "Adrian, I know what you're here for. What do you need help with, young man?" he said. He looked curiously at Reikou as the other kid left. A few seconds later the nurse was gathering what he needed to take care of Adrian.

"He's a friend. His name is Reikou. We're going to the beach and I decided to let him come along with me here instead of waiting somewhere," Adrian said. He didn't show any reaction at all as he was hooked up to a IV of blood.

The nurse raised an eyebrow at being called ma'am and Adrian started snickering. "I see. That's nice," he said. The nurse did'nt have the heart to correct Reikou. Instead he busied himself with his paper work while Adrian got his blood transfusion.

Once Adrian calmed down he smiled at Reikou. "I'm not quite sure how I feel about being compared to Nibanme, but I'm glad it doesn't bother you. Thanks," he said. He tilted his head curiously. "Have you ever had to have this done?" he asked.

Adrian watched Reikou with a half smile on his face. He was glad the guy was his friend.

The nurse didn't look up from his paper work. "That's correct," he said.

Adrian waved Reikous appology away. "Tis fine. You must not remember then. We'll have to ask Doc some time," he said. It was then that the nurse came over and unhooked him from the IV. The pinprick mark left behind on his arm was disenfected before the nurse put a bandaid on it. The nurse then started cleaning up the equipment.

"All done. Have fun you two," the nurse said.

Smiling, Adrian hopped off the bed and grabbed his things. "Bye! Thanks! Let's go, Reikou!" he said happily. The short older boy led the way out of the office and school.
