The wild grain provided marvelous cover for the group of wyverns that had ventured out of their cavern to enjoy the lush grass and bright sunshine. There were four in all, most still young and very inexperienced in how the world worked. Currently without a flight leader, they worked together as a group in order to survive.

Bloodred seemed to be the most mature of the group, and was currently keeping a watchful eye on their youngest member, Cloudy swirl. He had vivid memories of hatchings been taken by power predators, so he always stayed close to the younger blue one to make sure it would stay out of harms way.

Cloudy swirl was staying close to the ground, helping the group by digging into the ground for small roots and barbs. They had yet to find any trees, and she was not that experienced in flying yet.

Caramel was busy trying to see if the grain they were hiding in was good enough to eat. A quick bite though, told her that there were better things she could eat, so she started to assist everyone else in foraging.

Fritz was trying to balance on a particularly tall piece of grain, acting as a lookout for the group. Bloodred had told him that when he was in his flight. they had lookouts to watch the group to make sure there were no predators coming. Thinking that it wasn't such a bad idea, he had volunteered to be lookout today, to give everyone else a turn at learning how to search for food.
