I know that this is in the wrong forum and I will move it when I am confident that people are noticing it.
I was watching glee and have to admit that I was very dissapointed in the religion episode that they only covered a few religeons. They covered christianity, jewdism, seek (kind of but not really) but they didn't cover wicca or paganism BUT I do understand why. Most of the reason I was really dissapointed was that I want some music to sing.
I love the idea of being able to sing a really powerful song about god and your religeon and there are so many songs to choose from but when was the last time you heard any songs for witches on the radio? Most "Wiccan" bands sing heavy metal or darker music. I'd love to sing something I can scream from the bottom of my heart but weeding through the chants is getting difficult. SO I ask of you my fellow witches, pagans and wiccans, are there any good songs you can suggest? I know of a few loreena mckennit songs but it's not as powerful as I'm looking for. Can anyone suggest something to me? And don't be afraid to suggest things you think I might already know, chances are I do but I haven't noticed or I'm just that boxed in lol.

`Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,' I said, `art sure no craven. Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the nightly shore - Most Christian bands also sing darker music as well. So you can't really say that most pagan bands sing darker and heavy metal.
Anyways I think it's because there are that many pagan bands that are out there, that are as successful, etc. The only pagan/Wiccan band I know of is Godsmack. That's right I said it. Sully Erna is a Wiccan. Shocker, I know. Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!' Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

Actually, most Christian bands don't just sing darker music; they sings praise songs in many different genres of music- the correct term is contemporary christian music because it changes or varies and is not Gospel.
Onto to your concern:
One of my favorite pagan songs is the Faery Song by Lisa Thiel. So enchanting. heart

I don't know whether they're really what you're looking for, but all of Enya's music is very nice.
Can't say i know of anything particularly 'Wiccan Anthem' in feel...

I'm not sure I get the point you were trying to make. christian bands singing darker music doesn't change the fact that the average pagan band sings darker and heavy metal. Even the 2 examples you used were darker bands. There are bands such as Enya, Loreena Mckennit, most celtic bands that sing paganish music but I guess I was looking for something a little more up beat and less pretty lol.

`Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,' I said, `art sure no craven. Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the nightly shore - I remember listening to Enya's music when I was in the 4th grade. I listen to a lot of Nightwish, Within Temptation and Kamelot. Would you consider them pagan? Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!' Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

Wow... that is every single one of my favourite bands mentioned at once! XD They're Gothic Metal by genre i believe... but Within Temptation does have some that might fall into the desired category...

I find some songs from both Celtic Women and Celtic Thunder can be quite witchy and work well in Circle. As well as a band call Secret Garden.

within temptation has lyrics and themes that might be considered pagan. Inkubus Sukkubus is a really obscure band that has openly neopagan inspired music
