Void Rays had their nerf coming, and I'm glad they did. Their fully charged damage was seriously way too high, and the acceleration upgrade made them faster than Mutalisks.
in light of the facts, though, they nerfed Void Rays because many lower skilled players did not know how to properly respond to it. Bronze and Silver ended up having a 61% win percentage for Protoss against any matchup or something, because all the Protoss would have to do was make Void Rays. and it would work.
as for Corruptor and Thor, I've been waiting for them to make those changes for a long time. giving them mana like that was completely stupid. it's a Protoss nerf, yes, but it's also rational.
you guys understand my opinion on the whole Roach/Depot thing. i (as well as a lot of other people) don't understand why Zerg needed a buff when the matchup is even. but whatever.

I think the Roach range buff was more for the ZvP matchup than the ZvT. With the old range the Roach was really vulnerable to a rushing Zealot, which is the unit they're supposed to counter in that matchup. Now they've got another second to deal a good mount of damage with their acid attack.
As for the Supply Depot, it really is a non-issue. I don't know of any Terran that would build a Barracks before a Supply Depot anyway. Of course by that logic it wasn't necessary to implement that change either. Still, now Zerg has a chance to defend against a proxy Barracks or rushing Marines without having to resort to an economically sabotaging 6pool.

I disagree, I believe the range upgrade for roaches was made for ZvT, due to the fact that Roaches are suppose to hard counter reapers and Hellions, but any half a** decent player that can micro worth a s**t could kill Roaches easily with both reapers or Hellions.

I'm sorta with both of you, although in the ZvP matchup, I really think this is for the roach vs stalker game. With blink, the a large stalker army is so good vs a large roach army. Much better than they should be vs an armored unit. Especially away from the creep, which is where most of that type of fighting would occur. I think a range upgrade puts the two units back on even ground against each other.

I've always considered Stalkers to be a fairly decent counter to roaches just because of their bonus damage to armored, excessive range and quick speed, so I've never really considered Roach v Stalker to be an actual match up.
