Thoughts? I don't have an opinion either way about Desert Oasis being removed, but I loved Kulas Ravine. gonk

No more desert oasis?! But I was JUST analyzing that map! It's one of the most zerg friendly maps out there, what a bummer.

I was never very good at Kulas anyways so I don't care about that.

Desert Oasis I thought was a fine map, although a majority of the people disliked it, along with Scrap Station. in the same poll, people disliked Kulas Ravine the most of all the 4-player maps in the pool, and I'm with the voters there.

i was aware that the two maps added to the pool were already in existence. i still haven't seen them yet. they weren't in the beta pool either, so I have no idea.

Jungle Basin is a bit like Desert Oasis except that your main is backed into a corner like ever other 1v1 map. Shakuras Plateau is like your standard east vs west 2v2 map. At least Kulas Ravine kept your guessing.

I hated Kulas, thank god. Kind of sad to see Desert Oasis go though, I liked that map.

I've tried out Jungle Basin in a few custom games. Didn't really care much for it.

No, I loved it too. So many ways to go that I could always sneak up on a Terran unit ball... Or sneak in his base via the rock backdoor.

I remember one time playing that map I was so on it about spreading creep that it was all up in his base. I love that type of psycho warfare. xD
