 SausageLinks, Diamond(P) vs kstyle, Platinum(Z)
a demonstration of a rather common FE build used in PvZ that utilizes an easily blocked-off choke. in admittance, I don't get very many opportunities to play PvZ and it is a matchup that I'd like to get some practice with. my macro and micro could've been a lot better, I think, but for the most part I just freestyle much of it post-expand.

 SausageLinks, Diamond(Z) vs Aureal, Diamond(P)
a demonstration of the Zerg build commonly known as the 5-Roach-Rush, or 5RR. an extremely efficient and well-timed build I highly recommend that you Zerg players learn. very useful against both P and T. my micro this time around was definitely better than the last replay posted. macro was still just as bad, as the expansion I planned to set up as soon as I moved out of the base was dropped in favor of more units. which ironically came from the second larva injection that was intended to even the worker count. bad, bad macro.

I watched them both and I was a little disappointed, I was expecting more out of diamond league play, I mean, you guys all play very well and all but it just seemed so one sided the whole time.
You just built some units, and then pushed in and ******** killed them, very quick, straight forward matches, I was expecting a diamond league player to be able to hold their ground, push back the aggression, cope with what they got, some how hold on until they can get their own tech and then counter and then a back and forth game with more micro and macro oriented play, but aas it as just.
Mine. Build a force. Push out. ???. Success.

Well what y'all seem to forget about the leagues is diamond player =/= savant, and that in the end the games do not revolve around the personal skill of each unit but numbers. Math. Now, granted, her opponent in the first replay could've played a lot better but if x > y then no amount of "skill" is gonna change that.

understandably so. Diamond really is nothing special. think Gold league, only with less mistakes, better game sense, and a bigger understanding of the game mechanics. there are still many mistakes, and there are still matchups that can end completely one-sided. it's not quite pro-league.
it's also worth noting that this is low Diamond. there are still bad players in here, myself included.

 SausageLinks, Diamond(Z) vs oPPRoBe, Diamond(T); Bo3
a 3set of me sparring my Zerg against both my team and practice partner's main, Terran. he's my go-to-guy for all things Terran-related, and is actually a much better player than I am. for those of you who request more "Diamond-level play," this is undoubtedly it. that's right, less rushing, more macro, and subsequently more late-game action.
the games introduced here are of a decent showcase of skill, and include a variety of commonly used builds in the Terran vs Zerg matchup: 1/1/1, 5RR, 1Rax FE and more. a rather uncommon quality for someone who actually participated in the set, re-watching these games was even entertaining for me (except maybe 1set, but whatever). a very satisfying set of games, if I do say so. but don't ask me, see for yourself.

 SausageLinks, Diamond(P) vs Cryptic, Diamond(P)
a casual, friendly 1v1 game. i thought PvP was pretty fun up until I played this one, though. it was a good game to say the least, but the unit composition simply bores me to death. now every time I random Protoss against another Protoss I'll just end up Korean-4gating them or something.

 SausageLinks, Diamond(T) vs Morphy, Platinum(P)
of all the Terran replays that I collected recently, this one is the least boring. which says a lot, because a majority of the other Terran replays I have are as simple and decisive as a game of rock, paper, scissors.

 SausageLinks, Diamond(P) vs MysticKnight, Diamond(T)
not a big fan of cheese, which may come off to be a little surprising to other players. it's more generally accepted that Random players cheese more often than other races because: of the element of "surprise," and no one wants to master all 3 races at once.
anyway, here's a pretty straightforward match. this match probably could've ended faster, but meh.

 SausageLinks, Diamond(Z) vs TmasterT, Diamond(P)
another straightforward game. like I said, my replays aren't really anything special. i suppose this is a good demonstration of what not to do against a Zerg: let them macro.
anyone else noticing how I'm fighting practically no Zerg players? 3 of the last 4 replays were vs P. not to mention that my two major practice partners (the ones in my Diamond 3's) are T and P.
