That was well enough he supposed, if she was able to lead a normal life after spending a decent chunk of it on revenge. At least that's what it seemed like to him. The way she put it made it appear relatively simple, but he had a feeling it wouldn't be that easy.
"Alright. Here's another question... lets say you can only choose one of the two; getting revenge or being reunited with your brother. What path would you take?" he went on. A part of this was to see how much either option meant to her. The other was to help him decide what to do about this whole thing, if anything at all.
Vol, who had been out on a morning flight, returned about now since it seemed like the group was getting ready to head on off. He came back in time to hear the thief's second question, which caught his attention. It didn't take him long to realize what was going on here, and he had to wonder what the answer would be in this case.

Isis paused at his question, she had never thought of it that way before. Never considered only having one choice. She frowned and her hand, predictably and unconsciously, made it's way up to her pendant. Only one choice, she thought it over although really she knew the answer immediately. She wasn't so bent on revenge that she was without reason, she had done a great many things to work closer to that goal. But giving up her brother was not something she was willing to do. "Volare." she replied firmly, her hand clasped around her pendant. "My brother is far more important to me than revenge." she said.

The serious look Blade had on loosened up as a faint smile appeared in its place. She wasn't as far as he had thought then, and there was still some hope that she wouldn't be completely consumed by the idea. The fact that she hadn't wavered with the answer was also a good sign.
"Very well. I'll see what I can do about that then," he said after a short period of silence. It wasn't going to be easy, but while he really didn't have any actual friends, he knew a fair amount of people that wouldn't mind trading favors or those who owed him a little.
Vol let out an approving rumble as it seemed he also favored the girl's response.

Isis looked at them with a raised eyebrow, feeling as if they were judging her for a moment. "Well, glad I meet your approval then Mr. high and mighty." she said, although her tone was playful. She looked over at Vol's rumble and she couldn't help but grin. Despite how quiet he was most times, Vol gave off a much more inviting vibe than his pactmaker did and Isis was growing fond of the rock eating manoui, her feelings were neutral on Blade though. He was nice company, but his distant nature made it hard for her to think of him as much more than an acquaintance.

With a light chuckle, Blade shook his head to himself while thinking things over a little more. He had made his decision, but he was just trying to think on how he might be able to go about it.
"Is there anything else about your brother that I should know?" he asked. Seeing how she hadn't seen the kid in about six years a lot could have changed, which would make things a bit tricky for sure. Right now all he knew was that he looked like Isis and his name. That in itself wasn't too useful, though it wasn't impossible either. Any extra information would make things somewhat easier for sure.

Isis thought as she began walking towards the path ahead of them, still not sure where they were going, and still just wandering, a path seemed like a good place to wander. "He was always quiet, he never really spoke much, except to me. Hmmm... blond hair, blue eyes.... oh!! All the men in our family were really broad shouldered... I can't imagine why he wouldn't wind up that way too..." she bit her lip, pondering and fiddling with her pendant again, before looking down at the blue rock in her hand. "If he still has it, he would have a pendant like this, although I'm sure he would wear it under his shirt... and he is good with a sword. He was always good with it, practicing all the time. He thought he was keeping it a secret but not from me." she shrugged her shoulder's helplessly. "I don't know. I'm sure I could tell you if it was him if I saw him." she offered up lamely. That was the problem, she hadn't seen him. Not for years. She fancied that he was looking for her, but he very well could be living a happy life somewhere and not even thinking about her.

Rubbing his chin as he started to walk as well, Blade kept these notes in his mind. The extra details will help on the search, well, save for that last bit. If she had seen him, she wouldn't be needing help finding Volare in the first place.
"I'll keep that in mind. I'll likely just have to talk to anyone that fit that description. Granted he didn't bump his head hard during the incident he'll likely know who you are," he mused more to himself, "If I find him, I'll see if I could let you know. Is there some preferred way of contact?"
The thief was just throwing this out since he wasn't certain how much longer they'd be travelling together. Should they part ways and he find the twin, he'd need to know how he could reach Isis... or at least tell Volare how to get to her.

Isis tilted her head to the side as she walked, she didn't have a technical home. She was always traveling, and she tried not to leave too many traces behind of where she went. She sighed and shrugged. "The best I can come up with is give it to the post girl, I run into her on occasion and can ask if there is anything for me." she suggested. It was a pretty good suggestion, usually she asked the post girl if there was anything for her as correspondence from various jobs sometimes, rarely, came through the mail. She stretched her arms up, letting a large yawn out. It was still morning time after all and she hadn't done any training exercises in a while. Not around Blade anyways, and usually she woke up with her morning training. It had been odd adjusting at first. She turned around, walking backwards and offered him a smile "I appreciate your help a lot, Blade"

Nodding, Blade found that simple enough. The post girl probably wouldn't be too hard to find if he needed her to deliver a note. He had seen her around a few times as well after all. As she turned around to thank him, he simply shook his head with that faint grin of his.
"Don't worry about it. Family is a nice thing to have... best not lose what little you have back," he said with the grin fading. In a way, he supposed he was doing this as a means of thanking her for warding off his would-be-killer. He couldn't say for certain if that man would have been successful but it was probably better to not test things out when it came to that sort of thing.

Isis nodded and turned back to watch the road, a frown forming on her face. She recognized where they were, there was a fork in the road ahead, and not metaphorically. The road actually branched into two different paths, one heading north towards a well populated town, the other heading east towards a less traveled town in the middle of nowhere. It was more of a stop on the trail and was full of "shady" characters. Exactly a place she would head for work. Isis would be taking the eastward path, and she was pretty sure Blade would take the northernmost one, as people who stole from one another in this town seldom made it out of the town alive. She sighed and kept on, it had been nice having "human" company. Sure, the company didn't talk much, but it was better than nothing.

Looking up at the fork ahead, Blade frowned somewhat as well. While he has gone to the town to the east fairly frequently, usually to see if anyone needed any items or good stolen, or to pawn some things off, he didn't have much of a need to do either at the moment. The thief would be better off heading north for now. Considering Isis's occupation of choice, he could only assume she'd be going east to possibly pick up some work. As far as he knew, she hadn't done anything in her profession in the past couple weeks so he could guess that she might be wanting a job around now.
"Looks like this is where we part," he commented while looking at the fork ahead. While he didn't get all too close to Isis or her espers, the extra company was a nice change in pace for him.
Vol, who was flying over head, swooped down a little lower to hear the two more easily. He didn't mind too much that they would be splitting ways here, but it was a little disappointing in a sense.
"Safe travels to you three," he grumbled lowly.

Isis nodded as they came up to the fork and stopped, turning to smile up at the floating esper. "Safe travels to you both as well." Isis then turned and looked at Blade, a small smirk coming to rest on her face. "Careful who you steal from, I won't be there to rescue you this time." she said teasingly before turning and setting her boots east. "Bye!!!" Bala called energetically from Isis's side, Onxon as usual was silent but he raised a clawed paw in farewell as the trio went their own way.
