This thread is dedicated to my favorite artist. Her name used to be Mewkitty, but it's since changed to Danke Kitten. I met her many years ago right here on Gaia back in spring of 2005 I think it was. The first
art of hers that I ever saw was
cute kitty anthros of
people's avatars and such. I thought it was adorable and that her coloring looked great, especially for what she was charging, so I decided to get
a piece. Then I got
another. And
another. And
another. I was kind of addicted.
Shortly after, Mew closed up her normal art store. She still had breedable shops for a while, but sooner than later she seemed to disappear. It took me a long time to track her down, but when I finally did, I went straight into getting
actual money commissions from her because I like her stuff that much. But as we became better and better friends, she started doing
things now and
then for free for me as well.
Mew used to think that she sucked at drawing people (hence all the kitties), but I think she
draws them
just fine. That last one she showed me today is a picture of
this guy and her sister's character from Oblivion. I was kinda just blown away at how much detail she put into it. I think I'm her biggest fan. If she ever stops making art I will cry forever. And I have told her this
heart This is just a sampling. I wish I knew what happened to her online gallery. It was chocked FULL of stuff. I'll see if I can get her to help me acquire all of her stuff that I should have just saved to my hard drive in the first place.
