Green eyes beamed through the dark hallway as a lean figure came skulking down it. He was wearing his usual black and white mix of baggy clothes. Some days he couldn’t stand form fitting ones. It just made him feel awkward, which he felt all the time anyway, so it didn’t really make a difference. At least he didn’t have to put up with Scales again today. He was always attached to him like his mother. He knew he was protecting him, but to be all up on him like that was annoying. He needed to stop thinking about the things that bothered him.
Once he did, he smiled warmly at nothing. Only the dark intersecting hallways that he kept tracing and was thinking he needed a map or make one. He didn’t mind getting lost. It was part of the fun and most of the time, he found new places when he did get lost. It was exciting in a way. Really exciting. Maybe not to everyone, but it was to him.
Stopping, he looked down and frowned eyeing the pott plant that was growing from a tile in the floor. “This isn’t a good place for you.” He said very lightly as he sat down on the cold tiled floor and pulled it gently from the ground making sure as much roots as he could get came up with it. “I will give you a proper home.” It wasn’t bamboo, but a plant was a plant. They all needed to be cared for since they couldn’t help themselves against feet. Taking out a dirty vial, he found on the ground the other day, he placed the plant in it. It was filled with dirt in case he came across something like this. “There you go. Your temporary home.” He said lightly to it before walking deeper and deeper into the Asylum. The hallways darkening it seemed with each step.
“Anyone out there~?” Silence. He didn’t hear anything.
