What started out as an easy rescue mission turned into one hell of a nightmare.... Deep in the heart of the Red Coats territory lay a small base packed with about 20 well trained red coat soldiers. Lackeys at best though. Itaku would normally never take such an against the odds mission, however the red coats have captured his only friend... his wolf Kagekami. He is a glorious wolf, black fur and red eyes that shone threw the night. A hunter , smart and intelligent. There teamwork has gotten us through many missions, Itaku was not about to lose him now. The worst part is that this is all Itaku fault....I foolishly forgot to put the runes of protection and power on him. He is mostly a sitting duck now, sure his fangs are powerful enough to pierce through the mechs armor but the shear numbers overwhelmed him. Now is my time...to prove I am not a weakling.

" Seems there is about 20 soldiers,this will be pretty tough..however Itaku could not afford to lose Kagekami just like this. Itaku had been training for this for a long time, this is the perfect test..."

*Itaku pulled out his two daggers and muttered a word under my breath to avoid detection. The daggers instantly burst into blue flame. Outside the main entrance to the compound was about 10 red coats. A simple but costly energy spell would be able to take them all out.*

" Like sitting ducks....Blazing Fireworks....."

* A red ball of light floats above the compound, as Itaku charged it with energy it exploded into smaller beams of light that pierced all 10 red coats around the compound. Itaku breathed slightly heavier, while this was a simple spell to perform to create the beams required an intense amount of concentration and magic energy from the user. Itaku rushed toward the entrance of the compound making sure not to be seen by anyone. The guards would notice soon that the outside force has been decimated.*

* Three guards rush towards the entrance, as Itaku jumped into the shadows to the left of the entrance.*

" What happened out here, there all dead....who or what could have done this...this is terrible it must be the blue co-"

* Itaku pounced from the shadows immediately stabbing the first guard in the Jugular, the second in the heart and the third in the lungs. A dark pool of blood formed, leaving the air with a metallic smell.*

" Yes I am a blue coat, and you have my friend hostage I can't afford to waste time with petty folk like you...I don't like to kill without a cause, sadly you gave me a cause...."

*Rushing up the stairs there was 3 rooms, with none of them having them Kagkami inside, the darkness made it harder for me to find Kagekami, and up here was about 6 soldiers two in each room. They came running out immediately surrounding me with guns, was I to die here.... No Itaku would not especially having come this far...Kagekami was close he could feel it. *

" We've got you surrounded boy surrender now, you damn blue coats giving us hell, were not going to die here...We have families!!!!!." One of the guards screamed with fury.

* A slight chuckle could be heard as Itaku spoke.*

" You have families do you....well I'm glad to hear that, now they will know my pain. You red coats slaughtered my parents and village in the first war, and now you kidnapped my only friend, my wolf Kagekami... I don't give two damns about your families, your going to die here..."

* Itaku slammed his left foot in the ground as the earth moved around him, pillars of stone immediately rose up and surrounded him. The soldiers opened fire in surprise and desperation, there will to live was admirable but Itaku's will for revenge was stronger.... Pushing forward the pillars flew into all six guards smashing the bodies into the walls pinning them there, with a quick flick of his wrist the rocks exploded and the shards embedding themselves into the red coats bodies, leaving there carcasses on the floor.*

" That leaves a bitter aftertaste in my mouth, that was 19 there should be one more...but where...perhaps...the BASEMENT!!!!"

*Itaku rushed all the way downstairs to where he found a long corridor with one room at the end, Itaku ran as fast as he could to the room, when all of a sudden a shot rang out piercing his right shoulder blade. Itaku quickly rolled into the corner of the room and threw a fire ball in the direction from where the shot came. There was a man in a Red lab coat standing in the center of the room with a smile on his face.*

" Ahh so your this mutts owner huh...well I was just about to dissect him your more then welcome to watch hehehe. " The slender man with jet black hair and rimmed glasses licked his tongue around his lips, the action had it's effect as Itaku was freaked out immediately." Kagekami lay on the table.

" You monster like hell I am going to let you dissect my friend, I'll kill you and leave this place!!!!"

*Itaku rushed towards the scientist and sliced at his throat with his blue daggers, which he parried with of all things...a scalpel. With a knee to my stomach and a sharp stab in my right shoulder, I was sent spiraling back across the room.*

" Hehehe foolish boy your power is not in my league at all keep trying, why don't you!!!!"

*All was lost....Itaku knew he couldn't beat this man alone. I should just give up right now, he is so strong. I can't even hit him...wait a second. My hands began to glow from my next attack it was a ball of shadow that would cut anything it touches into ribbons if it hit. As the black bolt launched from my palm, the scientist nimbly side stepped out of the way and laughed.*

" Honestly is that the best you can do boy, you didn't even hit me...."

" That's okay I wasn't planning on hitting you..."

"What!!!!???"

* The bolt flew past the scientist and into the bindings that were holding Kagekami, within seconds the straps were cut loose and Kagekami launched himself at the scientist biting down ferociously on his ankle. The scientist screamed out in agony, and tried to punch Kagekami.*

" You mangy mutt now I see what he was trying to do, I'm going to kill you all, just you wait till I get my han-"

*Before he could finish his sentence Itaku was already upon him my blade slicing cleanly through his neck, his head rolling off fell to the floor, the pool of blood getting increasingly larger, as the scientists blood covered both Itaku and Kagekami he cringed a little bit. No matter it had to be done, blood is cleanable....death is not*

" Kagekami I am so glad to have you back, I am tired and need to get some rest at the base, next time I won't forget your wards. We will never be separated again..."

* Kagekami's rough tongue washed over me as the two of us made our escape from this nightmare. We escaped this one, but God knows what nightmares await us now.....*

Yume squinted her eyes trying to gain some sort of visual on her enemy. In was pitch dark out here in the forest though. The fact that it was the middle of the night wasn't helping either. Yume let out a small sigh and tucked a lock of long black hair behind her ear. "Where are you?" she mumbled to herself squinting out into the darkness again. Suddenly an arrow flew right at Yume's head, forcing her to fall backwards and hang from the tree branch by her legs. "Found you!♥" she cried happily, as she flipped to the ground and ran off in the direction from which the arrow came. She moved quickly now, using the darkness to her advantage. Two more arrows shot out of the dark in front of her, but she dodged the neatly. "You're gonna have to do better than that!" Yume yelled as she jumped into the air, landing on the other side of a large bush where the archer was hiding. He swore colorfully, and turned to take aim at her again, but she was to quick for him. She quickly turned and executed a powerful roundhouse kick, aiming for the jaw. It hit dead on. The Redcoat archer reeled and fell to the ground, unconscious. Yume retracted her leg with a disapproving look on her face. "All that lead up, and that's all you've got?" she commented, her voice filled with scorn. "What a disappointment..."

Celeste stood in the middle of the battlefield. Corpses lay all around her, but she didn't shy away. Why should she when it was her who did it to them? She was what many people would categorize as a monster. A being who would kill on command, and who showed no regret or remorse after the deed was done. They were only half-right though. It was true that she killed when commanded to; it was her duty after all. However, she did feel sadness for them. They didn't deserve to die. They were only pawns being used by those who had started this war, and in her view those puppet-masters were the truly evil ones. They deserved death, and she would see that they were granted it. That was her true purpose after all. The whole reason she had joined this war was because of them, because of what they did...
