ninja Are they making too many Splinter Cell games? They have sent one out every year since it first started coming out. I mean i can understand sending out a game every two years but every year its kinda of like buying every Madden game year in and Year out eventually it will be just a waste of money to get the Splinter Cell games with Minor Changes. and If you pay attention to the Characters. One of them dies in Pandora Tommarrow cuz u have to kill him at the end but then you kill him like 2 missions before the end of Chaos Theory. I know both games were made by different branches of Ubi-Soft but still they should pay attention to the small details like that and also the books are good and i hope the movie is great like i hope the Halo movie is but thats beside the point i want to hear your opinions on this matter. Are they sending out too many games already with so far one coming out each year? ninja

Well actually no I don't think that they're making too many splinter so games, once I gets to be like mega man then I'll say "okay that's enough" because I don't know how many times mega man was turned into something different and how many games he has like what 30 different games, he's been like chewed up and spit out so many times in so many different variations it's just not really worth it anymore, but hey if the fans like it that's what counts. Splinter so going to number three and now onto number four is typical for a good Tom Clancy game, it is after all pretty much the newest addition to the Tom Clancy collection, for instance his new game is kind of off the beaten track of what a regular splinter cell is supposed to be. Spoiler info: Sam is still a splinter cell but in the new game he acts more like a sleeper cell, he's thrown in jail which is part of his cover and this all takes place after his daughter dies, instead of having one or two enemies in a room you can have about 50 with a tank with a tank and you have to get past them, or a crowd of civilians and you can't be noticed, you can have two different missions such as the terrorist missions and the NSA missions it's your job to balance them for a different outcome at the end, it sucks though that the Xbox version is going to have less than the Xbox 360 version, so there's more than just a slight change for instance his gun instead of being an SC-20K every mission you're going to be able to use AK-47s and other terrorist weapons, in a way I guess you could say they almost did screw up splinter cell, damn those new people, but it's still good old Sam and his stealthy moves, it's just more reality based.

I dissagree with you because of something you said yourself, " I know both games were made by different branches of Ubi-Soft..." Did you know that Chaos Theory was being made before PT even came out? Did you know that SC5 is being made now? Also did you know that SC4 is being split up between parts. Hell, I heard one part is only for the charater models. Why? Because of the amount of charaters in the game including the detail. Nothing is halfed assed. It may seem only a year has been put into the game, but it's more like 2 or 3 times (at least) 3 because of the divisions.

Now let me ask you a question. Do you think Zelda will acctualy come out in april? gonk

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by different branches, but I do know that there are two teams that made the Splinter Cell Games. In G4 on Icons, they featured Splinter Cell and I forgot which SC game was it but one was made , I believe , by Montreal team, and after that they took time out. And Shanghai team took over to create SC Pandora Tommorow.

SC is a great series , so I wouldn't mind them coming up with SC games that often. Just as long as game play is innovative each time they create a SC game

i think they could have more, but, i really think the 4th 1 will screw up the series even though it should be a good game. and the xbox version will have some bonus content the 360 version doesn't.

i agree, the games look like they took a long time to pull together, and with 3 seperate departments, the games are that much better. ive only played ct, and the coop for that matter, but, im very impressed.

i hope zelda comes out

I think the only problem is they're screwing up the story line. Starting with DA, and now convictions is going to have contradictory plot details and soesn't seem as splinter cell-ish.

I admit, I really stink at the splinter cell games and I like the ghost recond games better but conviction sounds like a game I will get.
