xxxxxIt was a quiet night, the stars high in the sky. On a normal basis, any person would be asleep this late at night. The moon was at its highest, meaning that it was a little past midnight. The area he resided, was calming, quiet, besides the roar of the waterfall behind him. It was peaceful. Too peaceful. It was quiet. Irritating. Lonely. Too bright, too dark. Too loud... It wasn't right. Wasn't right at all! And he could feel it. Could feel every last bit of it. From where he sat, he got a good look of everything around him, could see everything, smell it all, hear it all... And he didn't like one bit of it.
xxxxx"Ugh! I hate this!" Kouga shouted, his voice echoing throughout the lonely area. The cave, his den. The forest. They were empty. His tail flicked, blue eyes glaring up toward the moon. Letting out a small grunt, Kouga's head lifted up, his eyes closing, ears pinning back. His muzzle parted, and a loud, mournful, lonely howl slipped past, singing into the night sky, for anyone to hear. He continued on, letting it reverberate, fill his whole body, the forest. The last thing he had, as pack leader, was the lonely howl.
