 How he loved the hallways. How easily light could be filtered around himself to make a human flashlight out of the wings that reflected the substance. Malachi Solas'fuar found himself bored as of right now, however. With his twin with that damnable Shadowbeing he didn't get to play with, he was stuck all on his own. Wings stretched out behind him, blue eyes gazing cooly out from atop black, square-rimmed glasses, his lips curved into a cold grin. There had to be something around here for him to play with.
Mally was studying the scarring on the back of his hand, with a soft, cold hum. Huh. So fascinating, these, from that weak other half, who'd hated his experiments with those pretty scalpels….so much that he'd tried nicking veins in his own hands. Fool. Not to mention when one of the darker's 'toys' had tried to blind him in one eye. Hence the scar that ran from brow to cheek. It was irritating sometimes, and it was times when the boy got like that, when this side of himself was glad for that fun to torment Sha.
Now…..He was still alone and about….what was a man eager to play with someone to do in a place like this, hmm? His lips parted into an 'o' and he began to whistle, his appearance as kept as ever, jacket straight, hair gently smoothed back, well groomed, pants neatly tucked into his boots. Perfect.

 The unicorn spoke to him and he listened intensely. They spoke often there at the window. Oh how he enjoyed their conversations. She whispered to him the secrets of the world and he kept them in his heart. He told no one. He made a promise to the unicorn not to.
"Bambi," she said, "Your name is Bambi."
He smiled. He was happy to have a friend. A friend that he could talk to in this hell hole. The unicorn didn't judge him and he loved her for that. But then she would leave the window and he would be left alone again. It was that time again and he stood there gloomily, waiting for his friend to return to the window. He waited and waited, but she would not come. Bambi pouted and crossed his arms. She told him that she would return in an hour and it's already been . . . he forgot. But he knew that she was late.
Whistle. It was soft and faint, but he heard it. Somewhere down the hall he heard the footsteps of a child and panicked. If Bambi stayed near the window, the portal to the unicorn would be discovered. She would be hunted down and killed for her precious horn. But if he left, she might return and think he had abandoned her.
"Her safety was more important," Bambi thought to himself and fled. He hid himself in the shadows and hoped that whoever was near would leave soon.

He'd spotted movement down the way, and was surprised by it. Blue eyes narrowed slowly, a grin curving up the corner of full lips. The grin was not the sort most people would want to see, as it was actually quite cold and did not touch the eyes. Wondering just what someone was doing in this falling-apart hallway, Malachi found himself walking towards Bambi with a slow, deliberate beat of his shoes. Drawing light to him, his wings glowed, and he pulled it into his hands, to illuminate the figure that had moved into the shadows. Oh, how cute. A boy. Brown hair had him curious, as did the look of the boy.
"Well hello there…" He cooed, purring softly. The man clacked his nails together, eager to figure out what was hiding beneath that pretty skin. So smooth-seeming. "Hiding within the darkness….Why would you do such a thing. I would love to see you." He tried to sway this boy out from hiding. Who knew what fun could be had, hmm?
Finally something to do, other than just walking about!
