Humans vs. Zombies
Beta Through some yet to be discovered start, a viral rabies-like infection has been released and is spreading. We do not yet know who is carrying the contagious disease, so we are advising everyone to stay away from everyone else. Don't let anyone touch you. If someone is behaving abnormally, we advise dazing them what we have found to be their weakness. We do not yet want to kill them because there may be a cure. We'll keep you updated on further news.

Based off of Humans Vs. Zombies OrganizationLOCATION: Gaia ForumsDATES: October 17-31OBJECTIVE: Infect all of Gaia. Or survive the apocalypse.GAMEPLAY:
Everyone signs up to be a human player. The game starts off with secretly chosen Original Zombie(s) who will have to tag a human by posting a comment with the word "touch" included. Only guild members can sign up through PM to become an Original Zombie to start the spread. Everyone else signs up to be a human. Humans will receive the signature marker to announce they're playing.
If the player doesn't reply with the word "Water!" within two hours, they are infected and the game begins. Once a human has been infected, Original Zombies will now have to wear their signature marker as well. They can post after someone in the forums or comment on their profile to attempt infecting a new person. For defense, humans can say the word "Water!" or "Splash!" after a zombie they see three times in an hour (you can only carry so much water not meant for drinking). So, if one bucket of water is used, a human is down to 2 until one hour later, when they have 3 again. The guild is the safe zone for humans and zombies. "Water!" and "Splash!" stun a zombie from attacking for 15 minutes....Necessities: Available Profiles, Enabled Comments, Activity in the Gaia forums, space in the signature.
I'm going to need guinea pigs to ensure the funability, playability, and durability, and flaws and all that. But first, tell me just how much you understood from all that and what's missing?

Well, everyone's starting off as a human, the question is if you want to sign up to be an Original Zombie. We will only use maybe 1 of every 10 players.
But I really need some people to help me out by participating so we can see if this will be a fun event to do every year. I'm seeing it as being like one of those Gaia events where they have the buttons under the avatar like in February where you could kiss, and during the Water Balloon fight throw a balloon or pump with an ally.

I think the bullet-pointed things explain it well.
1. Post here "I AM A HUMAN" in that red text I showed you.
2. If you want to try to be an Original Zombie, the one who starts the spread of zombies, send me a PM titled HvOZ
3. Advertise advertise advertise.
4. Perhaps we'll have a mock run before the real start.
5. Put the game picture in your signature saying you're a human player in this game on Sunday Oct. 16th. Do not remove it until the 31st unless you plan not to play anymore.
6. Watch your profile comments, and your posts for anyone saying anything with "touch" in it.
7. Throw buckets of water by saying "Water!" or "Splash!" You get 3 buckets of water, and you gain another one 5 minutes after you've used one.
8. Become friends with other humans so you can watch each other's back (and if you get turned, stab-- rather nom them in the back of the head!). Three buckets of water may deplete sooner than you think O_O
9. Post at least every other day and notify me (or if there's another mod) that you can't; otherwise, you die. For moderating purposes, your Last Posts should be visible.
10. Survive to the final mission!
11. If you don't survive, you're nommed on and your number has been submitted to the Kill Board, you're now a zombie and wear a new sig picture. If you just weren't active enough, or caught without your game sig pic, you're not a zombie, you're out of the game.
12. Post after humans as often as much as you can! You must now turn everyone to the Decaying Side!
13. The post must include something that says "touch" in it. Otherwise, it's not a bite. iPod Touch anyone? twisted
14. If you successfully kill someone (no one splashes you within 15 minutes), post the person's username, player number, and link to your killing post on the Kill Board in the guild.
15. If you've been splashed, you'll have to wait 15 minutes until you can attack again. :c
16. There will be special events where whichever faction wins will get special perks to help them either survive easier or kill faster, depending on who wins, so it'd be useful to attend those and help each other out!
