Let The Children Learn

User Image

The Priyal School of Learning is a place of great activity. The teachers, parents, and children are all involved in various aspects. The classrooms have about 30 children to each teacher, but each teacher has a teacher's aide who is either a parent or hired by Principal Shively.

The school is filled with children of all ages. The teachers draw in the parents not just to help in the classrooms but also to watch and help with plays, trips, and whatever special events they think are necessary. Special events include plays, musical concerts, art exhibits, and even days for show and tell.

Principal Shively is firm and cool in her duties as the headmaster. It is not considered a private school by any means but there are those wealthier students who receive more attention than some of the children from poorer families. Her decisions are law and the teachers seldom have the courage to counter her ideas.

Schoolmaster Navers is usually very cool and collected when it comes to dealing with children and parents. He is one of the best teachers in the school making the children enjoy learning.

Evelyn is one of the older women in the area. She lives in the midst of six families that have a total of 20 children. It makes for a lively area but she loves the children. She is frequently seen at the school activities even though she has no children of her own.

Opal is a homemaker. She does not work outside the home but she does have six children herself. Her neighborhood has seven other families, four of which have 3 children. She is always at the school events for one or other of her children.

The problem :

There has been some trouble at the school. Someone is scaring the teachers and the children. It is not always in the school itself, but also on the way home through the residential area.

Reward:

A personal auto-encounter with a special NPC ghostling during the Metaplot that can be caught.

What you need to do IC :

Post #1 : Write an interaction with Principal Shively getting all the information you need. Become a new teacher at the school.

Post #2: Meet Evelyn and see if she has time to help you. She will do anything you need done, limited to what a teacher's aid would be capable of. See if she has noticed anything.

Post #3 : Check each classroom for information. Look at the times of classes, the children, their grouping, and any trouble that occurs there. Describe what you see as well as give names for the other teachers, children, and cliches the children group into.

Post #4 : Check the people who have access to any of the classrooms and see if anyone knows anything. Perhaps they have seen something or nothing. It is up to you to create the atmosphere of the people there.

Post #4 : Check the children for clues to what they notice and the special places they like to frequent. See if the children know any rumors. Search every nook and cranny of the warehouses and see what is going on.

Post #5 : How does the principal and teachers deal with troublesome students? Check the security guards and janitors. Find out when their patrols are, the routes they walk, when they exchange shifts. What events are coming up? How are the teachers and parents planning to deal with this? Has any of the previous trouble happened during an event?

Post #6 : Find out if the trouble is occurring during the busiest or quietest times at the school and residences. See if there is a pattern to it all and discuss it with Evelyn. She may see something you do not.

Post #7 : Talk to Schoolmaster Navers and see what he knows of the other teachers, the groups of children, and anything else around the school. Then write up a formal report for Principal Shively.

Post #8 : Report to Principal Shively. Give her a written report and explain to her what you have discovered. Include the security patterns of the guards. She will take it to the Mayor who wants this problem solved. The Principal needs to have received a physical report in his hand when you turn in your information.

OC Notes :

You can use this form for the report, but the length is up to you. Just be sure to include all the information asked for or that you have figured out.

There should be at least 4-6 decent paragraphs per post. Have fun with it. Play with new characters. Play with the NPCs listed below as you see fit. Play with descriptions of the area. It is up to you to create the small details that make it live. And if it is longer than what has been outlined, additional perks might be rewarded.

NPCs that you may freely control are : They may have information or clues that you need. You decide.

One post a week is sufficient, but if you are really enjoying and finish the quest, simply let me know.
