Does anyone else find themselves commiting to something and then finding it hard to follow through once that fiery drive vanishes? I tend to over exert myself when it comes to RPing and I get involved with many great people in awesome stories but then the inevitable happens. Posting becomes a chore. I feel constant anxiety about needing to post and respond to my partner's posts and before you know it I just avoid it all together. it's not that I'm not interested, it's due to procrastination and anxiety. I love writing and I feel accomplished when I deliver a great post and continue the story. Why do you think I associate so much stress with something I enjoy? it's not even like competitive gaming.

I know it's unfair, but things come up you know? Does anyone else have this issue or something similar? I can't believe I'm the only one.

Sometimes I have that issue. The reason is because I have to go to school, chores, and probably it's because I'm sick. It's not because I'm not interested. It's because I may have too many things to do, or I just can't come up with a good post. It's one of them, but I really like to RP. Sometimes, I just can't, and that hurts me. You're not the only one, Ayrennar. I sometimes have that problem.

As a Guild Caption that is a huge thing. Not only do you have to set the example, but, you have to maintain and run the guild. I love RPing, but, sometimes it is a bother.

What I recommend take a couple of breaths and put aside a time that you know the person you're rping with will be on. You may notice that this person it on at this time or maybe ask them. After that just push away from that forum or chat or whatever and do something else.

well i love rping (( i am addicted to it XD )) but sadly when i get busy in real life i either can not get online or i have to do small posts then get off line the only time i give up on a rp is when everyone starts ignoring me or stops posting in that rp all togather .

I have that problem when rping in guilds because I forget to check my guild pages, so I've actually narrowed down my guilds to three and that's it ... the one I run, this one and some random guild that I liked reading things on, so I only rp in three places now ... two guilds and one regular forum ... though the forum comes and goes ... and this guild moves a lot faster than mine I will try my best to keep up and not get discouraged or disinterested ... not that I would I love this place. ^_^

If you have problems with keeping up maybe someone can keep a thread that gives updates on what's going on. I can't do it because right now I'm pretty much doing everything.
