What does, "It's alright, you didn't know I was allergic; I'm taking my Benedryl" mean?
"I'm not going to sue you for trying to kill me, I probably won't need to go to the emergency room so don't feel guilty."
"Just burn that all day, I'll just put up with my throat closing up; keep doing what you're doing and don't mind my death throws."

Alright, so these two women run up to you and tell you to extinguish the sage you're burning because a third woman, collapsed over a purse and choking, is allergic.
The third woman says, "It's alright, you didn't know, I'm taking my Benedryl."

So you light up another goddamn fatty?! I'm serious, two inch-thick pung sticks in a ten by ten tent not two feet from someone with an allergy? How can you possibly think this is okay, even if she's polite about it?

I'm not following, because too much of it is in second person, and I've not have the experience.

Can you tell it in any more concise manner? I am quite curious of this situation.

What's not to follow? There's one person burning sage. Two other people ask them to stop on behalf of an allergic person. The allergic person takes Benedryl, assuming the person burning sage will stop burning it. This person then lights a second inch-thick bundle of sage, assuming that since the allergic person has medication, it's alright. This results in two thick pieces of burning allergen in a ten-foot area next to someone collapsed and gasping because of the smoke.
Did you get it this time?

Mhmm, but where is your part in all this? As the person having the allergic reaction, or the bystander?

I assume a bystander.. that was very rude of the person that just kept burning the sage. Allergic reactions can be crazy scary. *remembers almost dieing from hydros about two weeks ago*

No, I was collapsed trying to breathe.

I don't see how it matters, though. If someone is suffocating, who it is isn't important!

That's what I figured. It just makes the plotline a little bit more understandable.
