So, Valeri didn't particularly have to go clothes shopping with his daughter since he had a fiancée to take her out and get her all nice looking in new clothing but there was a very valid point which he made before he left: This is one of the few times he can take his daughter clothes shopping before it becomes awkward and frustrating for everyone involved (mostly for the Father). With that point made he then wandered out with his daughter to do clothes shopping with the promise of being back for dinner hanging in the air.
Now the two were in the children-and-toddlers section looking over clothes that hung on the racks. Miranda held onto the fabric of her guardian's jacket and at the clothes even at this moment they seemed small to her somehow though she couldn't quite explain how or why. Her nose scrunched a bit as she gazed up at her Papi.
"You th'ure I need'th more?" Miranda asked critically.
Valeri nodded a bit as he pursed his lips, "You grew out of all of your summer and winter clothes already need to get you more to grow into I think..."
The still toddler-sized girl sighed and nodded before she pointed at a random dress on a rack, "How 'bout that?"

It was an awkward day, awkward in the sense that a very traditional Japanese man was taking his adoptive daughter out shopping for clothes...and he had no fashion sense for young girls these days.
Saedah was like she normally was , nervous, clingy and generally quiet. New places made her anxious her tongue flicked out only a couple times...she didn't like tasting the new scents...it only made her more nervous and anxious. Burrowing her face into his side she cling as he approached a children's store.
This looked like a place to buy clothes for little girls. In fact upon closer inspection he spotted another girl who no doubt was from the facility as well. He walked towards them if anything hoping that Saedah could relax if she knew there was another little girl nearby.

Valeri was about to comment on the dress when he noticed another presence coming toward them. Leaning a bit on the cane he turned himself and his daughter to politely gaze at them and possibly greet them however before he could even get a word in it was Miranda that seemed to pounce on the idea of meeting someone new.
Miranda was a very friendly and social child and only felt fear a time or two and so social interactions didn't seem to halt her or make her think twice though she didn't quite pounce on the other girl but she did waddle her way forward to try and get a better look at her, "You'th so pretty! Got'th my favorite'th color'th on your th'kin~." Miranda cooed cheerfully trying to be friendly as usual. For the most part she didn't mind the other adult that was there the child was way more important to her.
The tall man adjusted his glasses and sighed a bit with a small smile, "Uhh..Hi I guess," said to the man. "Miranda is just so excited about meeting others sometimes, she tends to forget herself."

It wasn't unusual for Saedah to recoil at the presense of someone new. In fact she half hid behind her fathers leg out of habit though as her tongue slipped out to taste the air she discovered that the scent wasn't scary more......tastey?
That threw her off a bit, wide reddish pink eyes peered past her dad's leg to Miranda who was speaking to her. The younger girl was a bit hard to understand but it was obvious that she wasn't a threat.
Confused with her own thoughts on Miranda she suddenl yfound herself in front of her fathers legs rather than behind it as her father had moved to allow her to great Miranda properly.
"A...ah..." she started and then stopped and then fidgeted on the spot. "H..e..hello." She whispered softly her gaze looking over Miranda liking what she was wearing. She was cute...not scary...and a small smile creeped across her face.

Miranda didn't seem to mind that the other girl half-hid behind their guardian and then peeked out at her. It was probably a very good thing that the rat girl couldn't read minds otherwise she might have been mildly uncomfortable or perhaps just uncertain how to receive that thought with any thing other than a befuddled look. She didn't give up but she didn't chase after the more skittish child either instead she just stood there and waited for the girl to come out.
When the snake-looking girl came more into view and then started to talk to her Miranda beamed happily, "Hai'th again! I'm Miranda," she introduced herself in a chipper tone not at all put off it seemed. She was determined to make friends. "You here to get pretty new cloth'the, too?"
Valeri, for now, was observing quietly and making sure the girl didn't get too exuberant for her own good.

The girl was a lot more outgoing than she was, inwardly wincing she wished she could be this outgoing, but everything scared her so it made it a trifle hard to do. She twisted the hem of her shirt in her hands, the awkwardness filling the void until she realized that a question had been posed to her and she was being rude by not answering!
If that was one thing Saedah hated most it was being rude. Not to mention she hadn't even told the girl her name!
"...I..i'm s...S...Saedah.." she managed after a moment, at the other question she looked over at the stack of clothes and the hanging ones and then she nodded her head softly. "Y..es...new clothes...I would like a n..new dress..." she murmured.
