I came home yesterday to two dead birds.. yay me. v_v A pigeon and a sparrow... which brings his total bird killings to... four birds this month. Yes.. just this month. B| He's probably killed around say... 15+ in all the time I've had him. Not including rats, mice, and squirrels... he's killed about 5 of those. And one cat. And a lizard. v_v;;
I just don't want him getting sick.. he doesn't eat them.. but still.. :/ Birds carry diseases. I wanted to take him to the vet buuut my mom and her whole "Get a job" philosophy. >> Rargh.. But yeah.. maybe a bell or something will warn the birds that he's coming, I guess? So they can get away. It's really their fault. B| You would think they'd LEAVE HIS FOOD ALONE after all the birds he has killed. But they're just stupid. *does not like birds very much*
Blah.. I looked online and a lot of people say to get a shock collar... but I'm not going to shock my baby for that. D; Half the time he's killing them because they are eating HIS food. It's HIS. I'd kill a b***h too if they were all up on my food. They just need to GTFO.
Anyway... advice?

Nah o_o
It's the birds' fault for continuously trying to get at his food
He wouldn't bother them otherwise

get something to distract the birds? Like a bird feeder? >> it'll keep them away from your fluffy baby's food.

I agree with this. I had an outside cat once, and the birds would always eat his (TURKEY FLAVORED) food. =/ I don't recall him ever really bringing us dead ones though...he was lazy.
