Chapter 1: The beginning (The rewrite)
Naruto
Naruto ran. His lungs burned and his legs but he kept running. Angry villagers chased him. They only chased him on this day, for this day was Naruto's birthday, the day the Ferocious Nine Tailed Demon attacked the village. Terrified, the 7 year old ran into an alley and hid quickly behind a dumpster. Panting and shaking he froze instantly when he heard-
“ Where are you? You damn Demon-brat!” A voiced called out.
' Don't find me, oh god! Please don't find me.' He covered his mouth to keep anyone from hearing his deep breathing.
Then when he thought he was gone-
“ Found you.”
Taking a fist full of Naruto's blonde locks and pulling him outta his hiding place.
“Let go of me!! Please I beg of you, please just let me go.”
' Someone please save me.' He thought.
Itachi
Glowing red eyes glistened underneath a hooded cloak. He moved in the shadows without making one sound, he made sure he didn't leave any trace of chakra too, Itachi Uchiha now committed the murder of the whole Uchiha clan, except one Itachi's little brother Sasuke.
Showing no emotion he carried on. For this was his vow never to show any emotion.
' Where are all the villagers?' He thought as he noticed not one villager was out tonight drinking or something.
Something was odd about this night. But he just shook his head and headed for the gates of Konoha.
Naruto
Standing in the middle of a circle of villagers, they each took a turn hitting the kid, each spiting venom in their words and this was done coldly.
But each time he fell to the ground he got back up. His whole body ached in deep pain. As one villager threw a punch into Naruto's face he fell, unable to get up he laid there getting kicked and stomped on. Then someone stabbed him, in the chest.
Each passing minute was like forever, each breathe he took was getting smaller, each hit he took was painful until he felt numb and soon he felt his eyes close.
' Am I gonna die?'
It was an hour or two when he opened his eyes (1). He was laying in his own blood, his arms and legs felt so heavy, it was hard to breathe and he felt so numb. He didn't see any villagers around. They just left him there to suffer and die. This alley was cold. Cold and dark.
Itachi
He looked both ways, making sure no one will see him then he cut across the street into an alley. He noticed that blood masked the air thickly. Then his eyes laid upon a small dead kid laying in blood.
' How does a little kid get like this?' Itachi thought.
. Looking at the kid he noticed his chest moving. He was breathing.
So Itachi dropped to his knees, put his ear to his chest and listened for a heartbeat. It was small and slow but he could hear his heartbeat. Examining him, he saw the almost closed stab wound, multiple scrapes and bruises.
“ Your dying.”
Hearing the last part Naruto slowly opened his eyes. Red eyes stared into blue ones.
“ What's your name?”
Barely being able to talk he mumbled.
" Na.....Na....Naru.....to."
" Naruto." He asked. He was surprised that he found the child with the 9 Tailed demon inside him.
" Save me." He coughed up a bit of blood which trickled down his cheek.
Itachi softly put his hand to Naruto's cheek.
" They did this to you, didn't they?"
"y-yes"
" Then i'll take you with me." Itachi added.
Naruto nodded. Itachi picked Naruto bridal style. The moonlight highlighted Itachi's crimson's eyes.
The moon was high in the sky, the night was cold,and Itachi took Naruto away.
~that's the end of chapter one. Sooner or later I'll put up chapter two, rewriting this took a long time so I hope you like it ^_^~

Chapter 2: The blood promise.
Naruto's p.o.v
My eyes slowly half opened. The room was dark, the sounds of dripping water echoed throughout the place.
' Where am I? Am I dead?'
I felt warm arms wrap around him. Then I heard someone humming, it was low and husky. But the melody was beautiful yet sad. My half closed eyes looked up, my vision was sorta blurry but I could make out the features.
Red hair with many spikes, golden eyes laced with sadness and anger, pale skin and whisker like markings on his cheeks. He was the one hold me in his arms and humming a sad tune. He is beautiful.
“ Your awake, do you feel okay Naruto?” The man asked with softness.
“ W-who are you? Where am I? How do you know me?” I said with a panick. I sat up too fast and fell back down into his arms.
“ Shhh, careful or you'll make your wounds open up.” He said. He began petting my hair gently.
“ Go to sleep now.”
I watched the room darken then I drifted into a deep sleep. Was that heaven?
Itachi's P.o.v
Itachi jumped higher in the trees. He was trying to find a place to safely rest for awhile. Looking down at the beaten child he couldn't help but notice his whisker like scars were on his cheeks.
' He seems so fragile......like he'll break into pieces.' Thought Itachi.
He stared down at Naruto who was snuggling to him. Naruto's head rested under The Uchiha's chin, his golden hair waved in the wind,and his sleeping face was so innocent. It reminded him of Sasuke but more cuter.
Sasuke.....His only little brother, whom he betrayed and left to suffer. Guilt washed over Itachi. But he showed no emotion.
' I'm so sorry for doing that to you, Sasuke' Itachi thought.
Then Itachi came to a sudden stop when he was at a lake.
He set Naruto down on grass. Itachi ripped a piece of fabric off of his shirt then soaked it in water. He washed the blood off first but it surprised him when his cuts were healing by themselves.
' Must be the Nine Tailed Fox healing him.'
Itachi then watched Naruto's body heal. Naruto's eyes opened relvealing Crimson red eyes. A deminic aura replaced the quiet one. The Nine Tailed fox was now awake.
" A pesky Uchiha, What is it you want?" The deep voice growled.
" Naruto was gonna die, I didn't know if I should or shouldn't have saved him. I just wanted to help him.”
" You have spilled great blood, I could smell it off you. I am thankful for you have saved my host and I. But you are an Uchiha. All Uchihas are greedy and arrogant. So I purpose a deal. " Kyuubi sat up, stared at Itachi with a grin that sent chills up Itachi's back and waited for him to answer.
" What's in it for me?" Itachi added.
" We'll serve you as a weapon, as long as you protect Naruto's life, teach him many things and make his life better. " Said The Kyuubi.
Itachi had to admit it was a good deal.
" It's a deal then." Itachi held his hand out.
" It's a deal but first We must a contract. With blood." His grin disapeared and his face turned into a serious look.
" With blood?" Itachi said looking confused.
" Yes. Just cut your hand and I'll cut mine. Then we shake hands. It's the most powerful contract there is." Kyuubi then held out his hand for a knife or kunai.
Itachi pulled a Kunai and slit his hand first. Then he past the kunai to Kyuubi who then did the same.
" Do you Promise to give Naruto a better life?" The way the Kyuubi said sounded like a wedding vow.
" Yes. And do you Kyuubi promise to become a weapon greater than anything?" That also sounded like a wedding vow.
" Yes and when ever you need me just cut your finger and call my name." Kyuubi added.
Both Itachi and Kyuubi shook hands. As some blood dripped, Kyuubi's grin returned but more sinister. They the demonic aura faded away and It felt like a heavy weight was lifted outta the air. Then as Naruto fell Itachi caught him.
“ I promise, no matter what. I'll always protect you, Always.”

Chapter 3: Can we keep him? part 1
After a long journey Itachi was finally at a cave with two pillars in front. The pillars had a curly design on it, they were big,and had symbols engraved on them. To normal people it would look like a cursed shrine or a gravesite. But instead it was the door to the Akatsuki's hideout.
' Let's hope that they will let me keep Naruto.'
Itachi approached the left pillar and then whispered some words. Then he traced one of the symbols engraved on the pillar. The whole pillar lit up and glowed. Beside the right pillar a big boulder moved aside and relvealed a secret passage.
Naruto snuggled deeper into Itachi's chest. Naruto had a small grin on his face....like he knew he was home or something.
' What a weird kid.'
Itachi stepped into the dark passage then it lit up showing a glowing trail. Only Akatsuki's members will activate the trail that leads to the hideout. It was a maze Itachi and Naruto was in. Only to keep out spies and other ninjas.
After many turns and walking Itachi reached the hideout. There was a big huge mansion. It was like another world under the real one. Everything seemed peaceful. There was a lake, a training grounds, the mansion, they even had their own crop,and animals.
Their was a hole in the roof of the cave where the air and light would come in. No one can see the hidden place because there was many traps, barriers, tunnels,and mazes. The place was totally protected and secret.
" Itachi finally you came!- What's that?" A voice called to Itachi.
Itachi turned around only to see that it was Kisame. Kisame was looking at Itachi with a confused look and a finger pointing at the small blonde child in Itachi's arms.
" Just a weapon I found and thought it would be useful." Itachi added.
" Itachi you know what the leader will say-" Kisame said right when he got cut off by Itachi-
" Kisame, This kid will serve Akatsuki as a weapon. Plus he's the 9 Tail Fox."
" Wait wait wait-Wha? The 9 Tailed Fox? The 9 Tailed Fox?" He said will confusion.
" Yes Kisame, The 9 Tailed Fox! By The way his name is Naruto!" Itachi added.
Itachi just walked right past the surprised Kisame and on towards the mansion. Then Kisame followed him and began to say-
" Itachi, you do realize that he is just a five year old, right? He is too young to become a Akatsuki's member or weapon." Kisame explained.
" Well then We'll raise him to be a weapon of mass destruction. Train him to be strong and never disobey the Akatsuki." Itachi said annoyed.
They were half way to the mansion when Deidara came running to them with excitement.
" Itachi, your back! We were wondering if you got lost or killed." Deidara yelled with his blonde hair swaying as he ran.
" Deidara wait up!" Behind Deidara followed a redhead whose name was Sasori who was also Deidara's lover.
" So Itachi how was your trip?" Deidara said right infront of Itachi.
" Not bad Deidara. I just have a little pick-me up on the way." He replied.
" Pick-me Up?" Deidara's gaze stopped and stared for awhile at the small blonde in his arms.
" Deidara tell Itachi that we can'said keep that child!" Kisame said angerly.
After Deidara's long gaze at the child, Sasori came behind him,and did the same.
" The leader will not accept him." Both Deidara and Sasori said at the same time.
Itachi sighed but he can feel his anger build. They clearly didn't hear him out competely and they still deny that the leader will not keep him. So Itachi just walked towards the door of the mansion and ignored there comments on how the leader will say no. Just as he was about to turn the knob on the door it opened to..... ~sorry I kinda left a cliff hanger only because I'm kinda too busy to put the rest in. But wait till part 2 then you find out who Itachi opened the door too.~
p.s. If i made errors just tell me so i can fix them.

Chapter 3: Can We Keep Him? Part 2
Itachi sighed but he can feel his anger build. They clearly didn't hear him out competely and they still deny that the leader will not keep him. So Itachi just walked towards the door of the mansion and ignored there comments on how the leader will say no. Just as he was about to turn the knob on the door it opened to a swearing Hidan-
" F*ck sakes, Why the hell does the F*cking Leader- Oh hey Itachi." Hidan said with a nasty attitude.
Just as he walked past Itachi he noticed the small child.
" What the f*ck? Is that a child?" Hidan said with a loud voice.
' God, Hidan can be loud and way too rude' Itachi just rolled his eyes and walked into the mansion.
" Hey, Wait I was talking to you!!! You F-ing p***k!" Hidan spat.
" Hidan just leave Itachi alone." Kakuzu sighed.
" Kakuzu I wasn't talking to you!!! I was trying to talk to this B*stard!!!"
Kakuzu and Hidan were starting to fight, Which gave Itachi time to escape. Itachi turned into the hallway and went straight into his room. Itachi opened the door which revealed a big dark room. The bed was put againest the right side of the room, the floor was cold,and a faint smell of oldness(1) filled the room. Itachi walked over to the bed and gentle placed Naruto on the bed then covered him with a dark blue blanket. Itachi brushed Naruto's blonde hair to the side and a small grin formed from the sleeping child's face.
" Naruto rest peacefully." Itachi muttered.
There was a knock at the door-
" Itachi, The leader wants to talk to you." A voice called from the other side.
" Kay." Itachi yelled back.
Itachi walked out of the room silently. He walked down the stairs and then turned down a dark but candle lit hallway. Then he faced a door and he turned the knob, the door creaked,and he entered the huge room. There was a long table and there sat the members of Akatsuki. At the end of the table was a shadowy figure. The leader Pein.
" Itachi we called you here to ask why you have brought a child into the Akatsuki's base?" Pein asked.
Itachi was deeply worried and anxious.
" Can I keep him? He had a hard life in Konoha. He can serve Akatsuki as a weapon and-"
" Itachi, We can not keep the child!" The tone in Pein's voice raised alittle.
" Please! He grew without parents, always abused by the villagers,and he knows nothing about love, friends,or family. I just want him to have a better life." Itachi replied
' Itachi has such strong feelings toward this child. It is werid for him to care so much for this child. But we can't keep him.'
" Itachi, I'm sorry but we can't keep him and that's final!" said Pein.
The door creaked open and everyone turned there heads. A small blonde child entered the room. His steps echoed as the walked towards Pein and He wore a smile. The room was so silent and everyone's eyes were on the child. Naruto went up to Pein and hugged him. Gasps and wide eyes all were pointed toward the child who just hugged Pein. Then Naruto whispered in to Pein's ear.
" I love Ramen."
Pein's face just dropped from the shock.
" Er... You love Ramen?" Pein said confused
" Yup, So mister what's your name?" Naruto said cheerfully
" Uhhh....Pein?"
" My name is Naruto Uzumaki! Believe It!!!"
" Oh kay?"
" Pein, can I stay?" Naruto asked Pein
A wide grin painted across Pein's face. He lifted Naruto up and placed him on his lap(2). Then whispered in his ear-
" Kid, Did you know that we are all S-class criminals?"
There was no surprise or fear in Naruto's face. Which surprised Pein.
" No, Pein." Naruto's voice stayed cheerful.
" Are you even afraid?"
" No." There was no hesitation in Naruto's voice.
They in a flash Pein held a kunai in front of Naruto's face. Again no surprise or fear was in Naruto's face.
" Pein you can pull a knife on me but I've been stabbed multipul(3) times and now I take no surprise when someone flashs a knife infront of me." Naruto replied.
" Naruto, you pass." Pein said.
" Pass what?"
" You can stay, as long as you obey and listen to us and only us. Got it?" Pein ressured Naruto
" Really Pein?!?!?! Thank you so much!!!" Naruto wrapped his arms tighly around Pein's neck then Kissed him on the cheek.
" Whoa kid don't crush me." Pein chuckled. ~ Kay I know that is not a way for a chapter to end but I tried my best!!!
1. You know when you smell a really old book and it has some funny smell.
2. It's like Pein and Naruto forgot they had a audience O.o

Chapter 4: One lesson learned from each.
On Monday, Itachi found Naruto's fear. Nightmares. They got Naruto his own room, but on the first night he freaked out and hid under his bed. Itachi on the other hand couldn't sleep so he wondered the mansion untill he heard small whimpers. He followed it to Naruto's room and found him, under the bed. Sweating with fear.
" Naruto, are you alright?" Itachi asked.
Naruto shook his head, climb out,and raised his arms waiting for Itachi to pick him up.
" Don't worry, I'm here to protect you." Itachi said softly.
He picked up Naruto and held him close as Naruto's face smuzzled his neck.(1)
On Tuesday, Pein noticed that Naruto was still wearing his tattered clothes from Konoha. So he took Naruto into Town for new clothes.
" How about this one?" Holding up a Blue t-shirt.
" No."
Then Naruto's face had a big grin on when he saw this Orange hoodie... with ears.(2)
" This one" He said Happily
" What's with all the orange?"
When they were done shopping, Naruto had a full wardrobe of orange, black,and lots of cute.
On Wednesday, Sasori and Deidara gave Naruto a bath.
" Deidara make sure the soap doesn't go into his eyes."
" I know, I know. Jeez just have fun!" Deidara laughed then slashed Sasori with Water.
" I'm gonna get you for this!"
Sasori then slashed Deidara with a handful of water, which turned into a water war and in the end both of them sat into the tub next to Naruto.
On Thursday, Hidan and Kazuku babysat Naruto because the rest were out doing a couple of "errands"
" God dammit, why the hell do we have to look after it?" Hidan yelled angerly.
" Don't swear." Kazuku said back.
" I can F*cking swear all I f-ing want!"
Kazuku and Hidan then got in another fight....and Hidan didn't hold out on swearing.
" You piece of sh*t!" Naruto muttered to his broken toy.
The room grew silent.
" Hahaha Good one Kid. I'm so proud of you!" Hidan said.(3)
Well the rest came back and Naruto learned two more words. Something that starts with F and ends in Uck. The other one was a three lettered word for butt.
Then on Friday, Konan and Kisame gave Naruto a hair cut because his hair was too long. Or tried too.
" A mohawk!!!" Kisame argued.
" Side Bangs!!" Konan argued back.
But while they Argued Naruto took the scisorrs and cutted it himself.
They when both Kisame and Konan looked at Naruto, He had many spikes and looked like a mini forth Hokage.
On Saturday, Naruto was being trained and boy did he ever wear the Akatsuki out.
