"You're right." Jianyu said, raising his teacup to his lips to take another sip. The flavor was very good, and it was quite soothing to his stomach. "Adults do not pay that much attention to children. That is exactly why it is advantageous. They say things without thinking, without remembering that the child in question will be listening, or they say it thinking that the child will not understand. If you ask me, it is a perfect way to gain more information."
Jianyu had discovered this fact long ago, back when he had used to apprentice in his father's tattoo house. Qian Liwei had many, many customers, and several of them were often those of higher class, or those that held important positions within Lunaria. His father heard much, and so did Jianyu as he grew up, learning that people did not give much as much credit to children as they did to adults. One particular day, Jianyu remembered his father had taken him aside after they had worked on a politically important patron, asking if he had heard anything. When Jianyu had nodded, his father had smiled and told him to listen carefully each time. Since then, Jianyu had long since learned when to listen and when to pretend one was not interested in the conversation.
"People tend to reveal more when they believe that no one other than the right person is listening." Jianyu said idly, and set his teacup aside now, looking over to Xiu. "Yes, I am well enough. And I would very much like to meet this Master of yours as well."

Xiu listened to Jianyu intently, nodding slowly to show he understood. Maybe being in such a position wasn’t so bad. After all, Jianyu seemed to know what he was talking about. Xiu finally smiled widely at the male, a dimple appearing in one cheek.
“Alright then. I’ll have to remember what you said if I ever get into such a position again.” Still grinning happily at this unexpected knowledge, Xiu gingerly reached out and helped Jianyu to slowly stand. He was careful not to jostle the male too badly. He wasn’t lying when he said that his Master would smack him if anything caused the fighter’s wounds to open again.
“I’m sure Master Ziye shall like to meet you as well. He was kind of curious why I had dragged a Legionnaire home instead of the groceries.” Grasping Jianyu’s hand firmly, Xiu gave it a little tug. “C’mon then. I have a lot to show you!” At that, the student eagerly lead Jianyu from the bedroom, heading down the hall to Master Ziye's study

It was an odd thing, being taken care of in a monk's temple, by what seemed like an entire group of Nobles. Not that Jianyu had ever held any particular animosity towards the Noble Retainers; he had found it unnecessary to hold a hatred towards a faction that had done nothing more than proceed in the wrong direction with their beliefs. His ex-lover had been a member of the Noble Retainers, after all. However, it was still a somewhat strange feeling, as if he almost did not quite belong.
However, Xiu was pleasant enough; a cheerfully helpful young man who also seemed to hold no grudges towards the ones whose loyalties lay with the Alliance opposite his own. It was a refreshing feeling, even if his body ached from his previous encounter.
"Who is this Master Ziye, exactly?" Jianyu asked as he followed Xiu down the hallway, letting the younger boy take is hand to lead him. "Is he the...owner...of this temple?"

“No on owns the temple Jianyu.” Xiu replied, saying it in such a way as to mean no one but God could own a place of worship. “But yes, Master Ziye does take care of this place.” He continued waiting for Jianyu after he’d let go of the male’s hand to bound out the door. “He’s our spiritual leader in the ways of our following.” Xiu hoped he wasn’t sounding like an idiot as he explained all these things. Some people were put off by the idea of meeting a man who’d reached enlightenment and come back from it.
“Let me know if you get tired.” Xiu added as he lead Jianyu down the long line of one of the porches. It overlooked a vast and beautiful rock garden that anyone could enjoy. In fact a few of the monks and local temple visitors could be seen roaming about.
“The Legion have temples, right?”

The temple where Xiu resided was vast, stretching out for nearly a half mile on all sides. However, it was a quiet place, where those that resided in it walked peacefully, their heads bent in gestures of respect towards their fellow men. The decorations were sparse, only the necessities with perhaps a few liberties evident in Jianyu's view. A simple place, devoid of any of the extraneous noise and clatter of the rest of Lunaria. Jianyu found he rather liked the quiet; he appreciated the silence, certainly.
"Ah, I see." he said, as he followed the young Noble boy down a long hallway, set just on the outer wall of the temple - a patio area, to be exact, with an overhang to keep the shade in. To his left was an expansive rock garden, beautifully and well kept, and there were a few monks wandering abut on the opposite side, their voices low and never raised to unnecessary heights.
"Er," said Jianyu, momentarily distracted by the rock garden, though he soon realized Xiu had moved forward, and he limped slowly to meet him. "I...am not certain that the Leigon do have temples. At the very least, I have not seen any. But I suppose that will just make me appreciate them more, will it not?"
