A blank look appeared on her face. The soft red hair fluttered in the wind softly. Her bare feet stepped elegantly on the rocks beneath them, making sure to only move them lightly while she walked forward. The vines on her body slithered around in an everlasting movement, they create nicks and cuts along the way. The roses shake with melody... while the one on her face twitches with unusual movement.
The petite girl walks around with an almost zombie-ish attitude. Her eyes half lidded and glazed over, the only actual movement would probably be from the vines and the blood trickling on her delicate skin. The purple of her eyes even seem to be motionless as she stares.
There seems to be a very odd mark on her chest, the only part that looks old and worn on her body. AS if marked permanently for the rest of her life. To show what person she has become. She was no longer human of course, after the experiments -they- did to her... how could she even be considered a human anymore? Sure.. she may look like one, but on the inside she had the ability to create roses from her blood. Her veins coursed with the power, and cause her to be lost in perpetual thought about why this happened to her.
The little girl doesn't know why she's here, she doesn't know how she ended up in the Asylum. Today was her first day, they kicked her out of a truck, after un-blindfolding her. The last thing she remembered was being auctioned off. The person seemed to have fought long and hard for her... but for what? To be thrown here, in a place that seemed only slightly better than being locked up. Slightly, because she can see the sun. The sun that helps her to keep slight sanity.
The didn't give it a thought, she stood still and absorbed the light. The roses and vines standing still for once while her feet pressed into the sharp rocks, causing a little more blood to seep from her body.
"Where..." is the only word she can manage to utter, a harsh raspy word from not allowed to talk for months.

Every since discovering the courtyard in the Asylum, Revi had made sure to practice at least once a day there. She needed to stay in shape! She wouldn't let all her years of hard work go to waste! No, just because she was locked up in this godforsaken place didn't mean that she would let her skills rust away. No. She would never let that happen. No matter what, Revi was going to hang on to the last shreds of her former life, no matter how much it tired her... no matter how much attention it brought to her... no matter how lonely it made her feel.
She would always practice. If not for herself then for him.
The slender girl hoisted herself out of her stretching position and quickly let out a low sigh. She shifted her weight forwards and leaned into a series of quick cartwheels. One, two, three, four, pause, and front flip. Front flip. Front flip. Front fli --
What the ******** had landed neatly on her hands and had begun to swing her body forwards into another front flip when she noticed someone just a few feet away from her. She would definitely land on the poor girl; it was too late to add more power to the flip. Instead, Revi quickly spun on the heels of her hands (thank god she was practicing on grass and not on the concrete) and twirled her body back into a flip in the opposite direction. She landed with a muted click of the heels and straightened herself out before waltzing up to the person that had so rudely walked into her line of front flips.
Revi was about to give the person a good, long angry rant when she suddenly noticed that it was only a girl. A strikingly beautiful girl at that. What was such a sweet little girl doing in a horrifying place like the Asylum? Revi held back her look of horror as she took in the girl's appearance.
Ah. Vines and roses, that explained it. She was probably another one of the new patients that had arrived in the latest shipment from the government facilities that Revi had heard rumors about. Poor child.
Revi pursed her lips and pondered what to say for a moment before leaning forward, barely catching the last bit of what the girl had whispered. Yes, poor child indeed.
"Hey, girlie. You should watch where you're going, yeah? Almost plowed inta you right there --" She suddenly snapped her fingers at the girl after noticing her rather vacuous stare, "H-hey. You there?"

Roscielle, a fine name for a girl.. no? This name was forced upon her while in the government facility. A name that causes her great disdain, for she has forgotten her true name. But what does it matter now? She has been tainted by the evil science. Every memory she once had was lost.. even the clothing she used to wear wouldn't come back to her mind.
Roscielle looked down at the clothing that was currently on her. Eyes blinking slowly, the black eyeliner looking messier today... probably because no one was there to "clean her up" and make her "look pretty" for the higher ups.
That thought of mind caused a small smirk to rise on her face, before it falls once again as those soft purple eyes glance over the smiling roses. They danced as they felt her gaze, happy their master is acknowledging them... before she looks back up and once more looks utterly upset with herself.
She wondered how they could suddenly let her go, she's been in the facility for years... How many was it again? Five... Six...? Maybe even Ten. It was all a blur. The shots, the probes... the memories cause her to shudder violently-- before she realized someone was speaking to her. The glaze on her dull eyes quickly disappears and she looks up with a brighter hue to them. Lashes flicking up and over her eyes, revealing more of them..
In front of her was another female! Another -person- She looked strange, but maybe that's what the women looked like these days? Colorful outfits... Much more skimpier than her old fashioned clothes, the ones she was allowed to pick out and keep to her style...
To Roscielle, the girl in front of her looked completely normal, so why was she here? Her rose eye makes a small twist as she glances over the girl in front of her. And then she smiles quiet angelically. "Yes, whom might you be?" The only thing she heard was 'Hey girlie.' Anything after that just blew through her mind while she was distracted.

Revi had been tapping her foot rhythmically, her arms crossed over her chest, as she waited for the petite girl to respond. It seemed like the girl was in a bit of a daze, maybe the experiments - if she was human experiment at all - had messed with her mind? ...Yeah, that was a possibility. As Revi patiently waited for a response, she too became lost in reverie (she almost chuckled out loud at that bit).
This girl was ridiculous short. Like, ridiculously short. She couldn't be a mere child... it was a possibility, but she looked rather mature to Revi. Maybe she was a midget? It was a tragic thought, but also another possibility. Revi was just downright amazed at the girl's height. Who in the hell was ever shorter than Revi? Almost no one, that's who. That was why Revi wore such high heels; to look taller. Of course, she would always tell everyone that the four inch weapons attached to her feet were to add a challenge to her performances. Her Leader on the other hand would tell others that she wore the knee-length boots to accentuate her long legs and because they just "looked good." Then again, her troupe mates would always say that her boots were --
Her mind wandered off for a bit before Revi suddenly came to a simple conclusion. It was probably a sin against nature to be as short as the blank-eyed girl before. Yes, it was probably some kind of massive sin an --
She pursed her lips slightly as she looked at the girl, visibly insulted that she had chosen to ignore half of what Revi had said. She bit her tongue to hold back yet another rant and instead furrowed her brow slightly as she sighed softly, "Th' name's Reverie. Revi for short if you want. But that's beside the point for now. You see... you, my dear, just walked into my line of front flips. Not only did you interrupt my practice, but I could have trampled you and your pretty little roses and that would have been... pretty unpleasant, yeah? And I'm sure everyone here knows that flowers are already pretty ephemeral as it is, so why cut their life short, hm? So you," she stopped to point at the girl, "should be more careful next time."

Her head tilts and arms sit at her side. She doesn't even seem to move the slightest bit, this could be slightly unnerving. But Roscielle's face also keeps a straight smile on her face. Due to her height, though, she needs to look up to Reverie. Such a small girl, she had always been this way. About four foot, or even a little bit over.
But now she looks confused, her head tilts again and she looks down. "Reverie..? What.....?" She caught and raises her fingers to rub at her throat, the raspy-ness of her own voice was making even her a little annoyed. "A-ahem... I was standing here... for a while... I do believe."
At least she thought she was. Sometimes she tends to forget about what she was doing, she would just blank out, like what had just happened. This wasn't a side affect though, this has always been part of her personality. A Quirky one, yes. One that tends to get her in trouble too... actually this is one of the reasons why she had be taken to the Government. Walking in on one of their plans and had never been allowed to leave since.

She arched an eyebrow at the young girl and took a step back. Revi placed both of her hands on her hips and leaned forward so that she was almost eye level with the girl. A small grin tugged at her lips as she looked at the girl in an almost... sympathetic and forlorn manner, "Yep. Reverie at yer service. Annnd no. No you were not. I checked and chose a nice clear spot and there I was!" She let out a soft chuckle as her voice rose in a dramatic manner, "I was flipping about, doing the daily routine and then! There you were! You wandered right into my path of pointy-heeled destruction. Luckily, you were kinda slow - like a zombie - and I had time to change lanes, yeah? Maybe you were daydreaming, hm? But hey, that's understandable. It happens, so eh."
Revi had picked up on the tone of the raspy sound of the girl's voice, but said nothing about it. Poor girl sounded thirsty.
...Or maybe her voice really was that thirsty. Eh, details.
She quickly straightened herself back out. If the girl had suddenly leaned forward at that moment, they probably would have collided with a painful crack. Revi leaned backwards onto her heels and tapped a finger to her chin thoughtfully before slowly asking, "So.... Are you new here? Never seen ya around before, then again, there's a helluva a lot of people here, but there's been a recent influx of patients an' whatnot, y'know?"

She looks around her now and frowns. She really doesn't rememebr walking around, but may it was because she was too tired. A sigh escaped her mouth before she smiles and nods apologetically. "I'm sorry, honestly, I didn't mean to ... I didn't mean to stand in front of you, I suppose I'm tired... It's been rough since I got here. I.. I don't even know why, or how..."
She sighs softly, getting used to talking, though some words still seem a little scratchy. But now she stares at Reverie in the eyes and they widen.
"W-what.. Where.. Where -exactly- am I, Miss? Patients, you said...?"
She was suddenly reminded of the government facility again and a deep shudder went through her body.
"Is... this another government facility...? Are... they going to experiment on us?"
She then glances over at her tail and her feathers and bites her lip softly, her hands moving up to fiddle with each other.
"Are you like me...?"

Revi felt a twang of pity flood over her as she quietly listened to the girl. She laced her fingers together behind her back and leaned forward slightly. Typically, in this kind of position, she'd be peering up at whomever she was talking to, but not this time. The girl was just so ridiculously tiny. Yes, it just had to be a sin against --
"Ah? Well, we're the... Asylum. Not a very creative name, eh? Oh well. Nothin' we can do 'bout it anyway. And yes! Patients. You and I and..." she slowly glanced around at the others milling about in the courtyard, "all of these people, too. Oh, but mind you... we're not all crazy here! I like to this of this hellhole as like... a recycle bin. All the rejects of society get dumped here - no offense. ...hm, experiments, huh? Nah. I don't really think so. I mean, the doctors are kinda shady and I have no idea what the hell goes on in the basement and catacombs and stuff, but let's be optimistic here, yeah?"
Revi reached forward with one hand to stroke her chin thoughtfully before quietly replying in an apologetic tone, "I'm afraid not, sweetheart." It would be twisted to say that Revi was... jealous of the human experiments, but at least they knew where they were from. They knew who they were, what they were, they knew about what they had once been, and what happened to them, but not Revi. No...
She suddenly snapped her fingers together and straightened out once again. "Hey now! Why don't I show around, eh? And then we can go get a bite to eat... or maybe a drink. You sound a l'il thirsty. Annnd then, I can show you where the bathroom is," her green eyes trailed over the bleeding cuts all over the girl's body worriedly, "Whaddya say? Oh, hey. Never got your name either, hm."

She shifted lightly, trying to get off the foot she was digging into the little beads of grain on the floor. They were beginning t sting slightly more than the vines from her roses. She glances down at one that was slithering across her foot, and carving a long and deep scratch against it. Roscielle doesn't even feel these pain anymore. It's been a very long time she's dealt with these thorns. They seem to just bring out slight petals from her blood too. So unusual--
Roscielle looked up and stared. This was all too strange. Being dumped in a place where, well, it seems like everyone around here was 'fixed' by the government. Or, well, not fixed but changed. "Why would they leave us here..."
And then she smiles at the taller girl in front of her. It's been years since she felt any type of affection from humans ( human like things ) around her. the doctors back at the facility pulled her and dragged her away like she was a tiny rag doll. "I would like to look around with you," then a gasps leaves her throat as she looks positively sad. "I'm so sorry, I should have said this earlier... My name is Roscielle Delarc. It is such a pleasure to meet you Reverie. Please treat me with the utmost care... or not. I-It's up to you."

Revi gave the small girl a shrug and ran a hand through her hair with a soft sigh, "Like I said, society doesn't wanna take care of us anymore. You've become too much of a bother, too inconvenient, or too useless. Depressing, 'innit?" She gave the girl an apologetic and almost pained look.
Too inconvenient. That's what she was. The very idea made her blood boil. Yet at the same time, it made her want to crawl into a dark corner and cry like the lost child that she was. How dare he drop her off at this place? How dare he abandon her and go back on his promises? How could he? Was he hurting as much as she was...?
Revi inhaled a sharp breath and smoothed out the fabric of her top as she nodded at the girl and began to lead her off in a random direction. "Roscielle Delarc, huh? What a cute name! Very... fancy soundin'." Revi suddenly turned around and let out an airy laugh at Roscielle's latter remark, "No worries, yo! Now, c'mon~"
She whirled around once again on her heel and waved an arm out in front of her in a flourishing manner. "This here is the courtyard! The only nice place in this entire goddamn place, but hey, at least we get one nice area, yeah? Anyway, don't go near the caretaker's shed. Freaky stuff could happen y'know? Oh and, don't try to fly away or anything fancy like that, you'd probably get shot. Wait, you probably can't fly right? Whoops." She let out another laugh and continued to ramble on about respecting the trees as they walked along, making sure that Roscielle kept up with her pace.

She began nibbling her lips from nervousness the roses flitting and turning in circles as well. They tend to move more while she was thinking and calm down while she was talking. She didn't quite feel them move anymore, but still did feel the pain from the thorns and buds growing a new in her body. She winced now as she could feel one growing and urging to press out of her skin, but she held back that look and followed Reverie as they walked.
"I.. but.. why would I be auctioned here...? if I was so useless..." Her own face slipped and became pained when she saw reverie's and decided to keep her self behind the taller girl. Thanking her for the comment on her name. She had become dazed again from some thoughts of why she was there, and where exactly they were. Not realizing they had stepped into the courtyard until the taller woman turns around and stops walking.
Those purple eyes snapped out of their daze and she gasped, looking at the precious flowers and the grass... The tress and and... She shook her head and stared at Revi... "Did you... try flying away then? I-I meant, no thank you for taking me here.. that comment before was impolite, please forgive me..." She winced back, afraid that she would get hit for the remark she made. Her bare toes dug into the soft ground while baring the brunt of her mistake.

Inquisitive green eyes briefly flickered over the girl's beaten up form before lingering on the bizarre roses. Although Revi enjoyed flowers and she had been tempted to gingerly touch the roses sprouting from Roscielle's body, she now quickly changed her mind and even inched away a bit from the shifting roses. Instead of continuing to stare at the dark roses, Revi tore her eyes away and decided to focus on the open space before the two of them. Revi found that the longer she looked at Roscielle, the sadder she got. The girl was just so pitiful! She seemed so hurt and lost...
Revi felt herself tense up as she sharply turned on her heel and glowered down at the girl. Her eyes flashed dangerously as she spoke in a sharp and clearly agitated tone. "Auctioned?! You were sold?" The very idea of a life being sold so freely made her blood boil. Selling other people was simply an.... inexcusable crime! Not only was it heartless and sick, but it also reminded her of the brothels that she knew a little too well. Revi crossed her arms over her chest and let out a frustrated sigh as she twisted at a lock of hair anxiously.
She glanced over at the girl sharply and stared at her blankly for a few moments. Observing her reaction, Revi couldn't help but feel another pang of pity as Roscielle apologized and seemed to even flinch a bit. Tilting her head a bit, Revi simply gave her a twisted smile and murmured a soft, "I can't." Lightly touching the petite girl's bare shoulder, Revi motioned for Roscielle to continue following her.
"Mmm'kay! So, our next stop is the cafeteria, yeah? T' get some water for that parched throat 'a yours. Okay? Now, come on, girlie. We can enjoy th' view out here another day~"

There was this sharp pain in her chest, she wasn't sure why she felt like she would get punished for that comment. There was this small instinct in her that said to pull back when she says something wrong. So when Reverie touched her shoulder, she shuddered in anticipation for the pain that would be different from the now numbing ones created by the thorns and vines.
She blinked, and looked up at the taller girl and stared, there was no pain, just... It looked as if she understood exactly as she had felt, or somewhat really. But that was enough to let Roscielle calm down. She sighs softly before nodding and looking a head, holding onto her throat and trying to clear it lightly. "A-ahem... Yes, the ... were the food is given..? I.. I think I only need water and the sun... These flowers share their nutrients with me when they grow..."
yes, it seemed as though she hasn't had the urge to eat at all since she arrived at the asylum. Just the sun soothed her in more ways then one. As well did the plants around her, making he happier outside then in confinement. She'll have to ask Reverie if there was a way to sneak some of the earth and flowers into her room to make it... slightly more pleasant to herself.

Revi found Roscielle's reaction a bit bizarre, but it was something she recognized: fear of punishment. She glanced over at the girl out of the corner of her eye; the girl looked as though she had been well-taken care of before her arrival at the Asylum. Roscielle's clothes were of a fine quality and she had the mien of an upper class individual despite her current disheveled appearance. Revi was curious about the girl, but she would bite her tongue... for now.
Exiting the court yard and entering into one of the Asylum's many winding hallways, Revi made a vague motion with her hands. "Watch your ste...p...." her sentence trailed off as she glanced down at Roscielle's feet and let out a long sigh, thinking to herself, What is it with people an' not havin' shoes around her? I swear! First Lulu an' Cassie an' now... geez! Then again... if Rosie can stand walkin' around on rose thorns, then maybe steppin' on a little bit of glass won't be too bad... Hm.
Keeping Roscielle close to her, Revi walked briskly, but quietly down the hallway, making sure that her stiletto heels barely even made a click. She walked with long strides and every now and then, she would glance over to make sure that the small girl was still with her. "Whoa really?" Her eyes lit up as she spoke, "That's kinda cool... or at least convenient in a place like this, yeah? Water and good ol' fashioned sunshine are pretty easy to come by around here! Lucky you 'cause the food here is s**t!"
She shrugged and let out a small laugh before turning to look at Roscielle with a childishly curious look in her eyes. "So hey..." she pointed at the rose sprouting out of the girl's shoulder and winced a little, "Does it hurt?"
