Night had finally arrived, blanketing the world once more with a star-peppered curtain of black. Under the cover of darkness, Daggerfang stirred. The demon-blooded dhampir immediately took note of the blade sticking through the ceiling above them. Well, D must've called Ozryel's Reaper... because there it was. When that scythe came out, that hole would have to be patched to prevent sunlight from leaking in. Worry about that later. For now, let the vampires come out to play....

Angeles looked up and smiled as the sun set. She looked down and pulled at the holes in her clothes. As darkness covered the world, her wounds finally began to heal. Only the cross-shaped burn on her back remained. She looked over at the dhampir that stirred and snapped her book closed, stepping away from the wall. She put one hand on her hip as she slid the book into her belt behind her and waited. Something was going to happen now; they would need a plan first.
