Can you change gender the old way (with the 2 free swaps), or does it only count if you buy that potion? Becaues if it's the latter, I have better things I can spend my gold on. Most of the ones I have left aren't going to happen. I keep trying to get Noob Wranger but it never seems to come through...

I caved and just used the two free potions.
I think the potions are replacements for the old free swaps gaia used to have. So if you haven't swapped yet there are free potions waiting for you.
