Matt Alfen Matt blinked a bit as he looked at Vic because it felt like she wanted to add something to what she explained. But as she stated that he saw her chest bare, there was pang of pain in the center of chest, which caused him to bring hand to it. He had completely missed what she had said because of the pain, he let out a light cough, "Ow ow..sorry." He said as his chest hurt still.

xxxxx The vampire huffed, seeing that it wouldn't be very easy to tell him what he had seen. Her attention, however, was drawn to the pain in his chest. "A-Are you alright?" She asked, putting a hand on his chest over his as her expression softened. Rather than blushing, her tone remained concerned, "D-Did you pull a muscle o-or something...while swimming?"

Matt Alfen "Y-Yeah, I'm alright. And it is probably a pulled muscle.." Matt replied with a kind smile, not wanting her to worry. But, the truth of the matter was that the pain was from something completely different, and he knew what it was, but telling someone about it wouldn't make it get better any faster. He moved his hand away and stretched a bit, "No worries, I am okay now." He said to her to ease her worries and stood up. The pain still throbbed in his chest, but he didn't let it show on his face or in his voice.

xxxxx Victoria's eyebrows knit together, suspicious of his sudden recovery. Her confusion was soon masked with a small smile, taking his hand when he stood up. She looked into his eyes, her confusion showing on her face once more, as she searched for any sign of pain, as if simply looking at him could give her an answer. "Are you sure...?" She asked, still looked inside of his eyes, tearing hers away moments after. "Perhaps we should get you to a nurse, but chances are it's closed." She looked up, seeing the moon come out. They'd been at the beach for that long?

Matt Alfen Matt smiled still, doing very well to hide the pain from his face and his eyes as he looked back at Vic. "Yeah, I'm sure." He replied with a light nod, and blinked a bit at her suggestion about the nurse. He noticed that the moon had already come out by that point and spoke again, "Nah, I said I'm fine, no need to worry. But, it's getting late and we have classes in the morning, so I'm gonna head back to my dorm for the night." He said suddenly with another stretch before blushing a bit and hugging Vic gently and running off. "Night!" He called with a smile, but the pain increasing in his chest.

xxxxx Victoria huffed once more as she watched him run off, "Matt!" She called out, sighing. She knew he wasn't okay. He may be partially dragon, however that doesn't mean he can heal within a second. Not even vampires can do so. In order to assure his safety, "I must follow him." She whispered to herself, thinking aloud. When he was nothing but a dot, she ran rapidly, occasionally hiding behind trees when he turned around, or if she felt he was to turn around. She was light on her feet, thus he could not hear anything but the crickets.
