It was a temporary set up for a little stand of flowers, most of them were varieties that you would see anywhere in the world. There were daisies, there were roses, there some lilies, and there was even a rather large venus fly trap that was catching the flies that came close to the little corner booth. Behind it was a young woman with long, flowing green hair who was reading a book between sales. While she didn't seem to be into the actual sales of the flowers she was in fact watching everyone who came by very closely. After all she had one special flower for sale that needed just the right home and just the right conditions to bloom properly. She had yet to find that particular person so she would wait a little longer.
The young woman lifted a hand up to run her fingers through her hair before tossing it all over her shoulder to gather there instead of in front of her which it was trying to do. She gave a little sigh when a slight breeze knocked it all forward once more, "Sarcastic hair." She murmured, looking down at it, shrugged, then went back to what she was doing.
From the booth, hidden behind it, was a rather sweet smelling scent. It was something like honey only stronger, able to draw in customers as though like the woman it was looking for the company of another person. The flower saleswoman was nice and all but not quiet what the flower was needing to grow quickly and successfully. Both would need to wait a little more patiently it would seem.

It was just a simple shopping day for Lira, wandering through the open-air market in search of cute things to buy. Although she had a list made for her by Noah of natural foods to buy, she also kept her eyes open for anything that would catch the interest of her family. A present for Aludra was at the forefront of her mind; something to pay back all the sweet gifts he gave her when they were... estranged. However, to her mild disappointment, nothing was jumping out at her. She persisted, of course, but with every step she took her confidence dwindled a little.
Then, as she passed by a cute little flowerstand, a strange feeling swept over her. Lira paused in the middle of the pathway (disgruntling quite a few people behind her) and breathed deeply, trying to locate where that deliciously sweet smell was coming from. It was like honey... honey and something else. Running a hand through her hair, her golden eyes cast around until Jake helpfully wiggled towards the flower stand. A small smile grew on her face, and she walked over to the stall, smiling at the woman's wares.
"Hello," she said pleasantly as she appraised all the cute little blooms. There were lilies and orchids and some flowers she'd never seen before in her life; Lira idly wondered why the stall seemed deserted. Certainly these were the most charming flowers in the whole market. She beamed up at the green-haired young woman. "You have such gorgeous flowers. I've never seen some of these before in my life. And they smell so sweet..." She inhaled again, and sighed happily. Such an intoxicating scent...

The woman behind the stand gave a pause, lifted her gaze, then watched the one in front of her for a long moment. Her book closed before her and she sat forward with a look of interest clearly written on her face, "Good afternoon." She greeted her then smiled brightly, "Yes, some of our flowers are more rare then others, some either are from out of the region or from somewhere even farther away."
When the woman said that she could smell the sweet scent she found herself that much more curious, wondering if one of the flowers was trying to reach out to this woman. It would make sense. She reached down behind the stall and lifted up a rather pretty flower, it was small yet, with only one blossom open so far but it was rather otherworldly from both the design of the flower, the scent it gave off which was much like honey and the fact that it almost seemed as though it were swaying despite there not being much of a breeze today, "This is the rarest flower that we have, I am looking for a good home for it due to that very reason, a place that it will be well taken care of. Watered daily and left close to the hub of activity since its a flower that responds to strong emotional energy which encourages growth."
She knew that it would sound like a rather interesting sales pitch for sure but she didn't mind that the one in front of her might believe her straight away when she explained the flowers needs. She would just have to see if the girl had as much interest in the plant as the plant had in her was all...

Lirona seemed to be stuck at the flower stall, cooing over the beautiful blossoms and inhaling that lovely scent. Although she couldn't precisely tell what was keeping her there, she poured over the flowers, the idea of a gift for Aludra drifting towards the back of her mind. "My goodness..." she said in wonder, thinking of how rare some of these plants must be. "You must do very good business."
When the green-haired woman brought up the bizarre flower, Lira let out a low gasp. It was like nothing that she'd ever seen before; she didn't even know what kind of flower it was. The honey-smell washed over her, and her golden eyes watched the peculiar swaying like she was hypnotized. Even before the woman described the flower's needs, Lira had already made up her mind.
"Wow, it's lovely... I- I'd love to buy it, if you think that I would be able to keep it alive." She glanced up at the woman a little nervously. "You said that it needed strong emotional energy, right? Well, I mean, I have a very active household, and... we're pretty good when it comes to emotions." She laughed awkwardly, eyes flicking back towards the plant. "Are their things that are bad for it? Like, if there's too much anger around, would it get hurt?"[

The woman gave a bit of a smile, "My little shop gets by." She didn't want to admit that she rarely really sold anything, that she was here because the flower she was showing off needed to have a good home and that was all. Admitting to something like that might seem strange though.
"Naw, emotions are emotions, they all give off a similar energy some emotions on taste differently from others." She explained, "Love is sweet, anger is more of a spicy, hot flavor, sadness is bitter, and so on. The more that goes on around it the more the plant with thrive." She said, giving the little plant a push closer to the pretty, pregnant woman. Glancing down at it for a moment she seemed to be thinking for a moment before looking back up at Lirona again, "I wouldn't charge you for this one, after all its a special flower and it needs you so it would be mean of me to charge for something that wants to go with you."
Not to mention that the creature born from the flower would likely come back to kick her later if she took money for it since it would feel quite like a slave or worse, nothing she wanted to risk.
