I thought it was okay, i mean, the writin's still pretty good but that one shot with the dean cam kind of made my head whirl. But it was a pretty good first episode.

I thought it was alright for a first episode, though I'm sad that Sam isn't like he used to be in the first two seasons. Next episode should be great tho, missing babies!

i'm wondering if Lisa and Ben are going to become hunters through the series or weather they'll just disappear?

I hope they don't stay long, they are ruining the Sam/Dean brotherly love relationship...

If Dean ever gets a girl I think she should be a hunter or someone who can relate to him. I mean, I like Ben... but not lisa...
I think I'm sexist on this show. D: But I'm a girl!

I enjoyed the first episode. I absolutely loved the montage at the beginning (Beautiful Loser).
The song fit the episode, and Dean, perfectly.
Also:
DUDE! TWO AND A HALF MEN!! (episode 2) HOLY FREAKING CRAP!
SPOLIERS (sort of)
The first ten minutes I was biting my finger because I was scared shitless of whatever was killing the parents. Then the supermarket scene came about and I was on the floor laughing.
"Dean... Make it stop!"

nah i totally agree, i mean i don't think that a woman can actually 'get into' hunting, she has to be raised from it as a teen or yongure because at her age, morals are set into place and everything and it becomes hard to break. I hope Ben hunts.

I honestly think that Dean would s**t a brick if Ben decided to hunt, but after his initial freak out, he would insist on being the one to teach him. But I don't think it will happen.... Lisa would hate him if Ben ended up getting in to hunting.
As far as Lisa and Ben goes, I don't think they will play a major part of the season after this. I think it was good for Dean and Sam to have a break from eachother, but now that they're back together, I feel the tension of them having more secrets becoming a problem.
I was so excited at the end of Two and A Half Men when Dean pulled out the Impala. I nearly cried when I found out that Dean was keeping it away in the garage and choosing instead to roll around in that crappy truck. gonk
I can't wait to see them reconnect. I hope that Sam decides to stick with his brother. Having two cars would make it harder for them to stick together and "kiss and make-up".

I really didn't like the first episode. The editing was awful. First you see Dean go down from a double dose of Djinn juice, the nightmare, and then a commercial, followed by Dean and Sam walking out of Sid's house. What happened there? stare
The writing was choppy and the boys had changed to extremes. How does Dean forget how to hunt? And whats up with the return of Grandpa Cambell and the 3rd cousins? Are they trying to start a Supernatural version of "Warehouse 13" with all things spooky and vicious being tagged and bagged? scream
I'll keep watching because every year the show surprises you with a twist of excellence, drawing in more and more fans with each season. heart
I like Ben and Lisa but the whole story line of Dean's debate, should I stay or should I go,(is he a protector or an evil magnet?) has just become null with Lisa's offer to let him have his cake and eat it to.(be a hunter and a family man). confused
I was really expecting season 6 to be more like season 1. Back to monster -in -the -closet style hunting with some Hell stories being passed amongst brothers. whee
But that's my opinion...doesn't make it right. xd

@ Mistress- i agree with the enditing and i nearly cried when they used a "Dean cam"-that one shot where they obviously stuck a waist cam on Jensen? I was sitting there thinking, you did not just go cheap and use a dean cam-noooooo! crying Also there's no way that you could forget to hunt in such a short period of time because if you think about the fact that Dean was tortured in hell for forty years getting tortured and then pops back up and still know's stuff.
However as for their personality changing it makes sense. Dean changed pretty bad when he returned from hell, we can't really NOT expect that from Sam and he was generally the quiet one of the two before he even went to hell.
@Kat- i have a feeling it's gong to be like season three all over again where Dean doesn't trust Sam because no Sam has been going around with Samuel, who Dean doesn't know and because it's always been him and Sam, getting into a group and trusting thier skills.... idk i think it might be tense for a while.

I was so pumped up for the premiere, but i have to say that it didn't live up to my expectations.. Dont get me wrong i still liked it but i didn't feel ethusiatic about it after watching.
As for Ben and Lisa, i like them i think its good that dean finally got to have the "apple pie life" he's been wanting since like season 4. But i really hope they develop their characters some more, mostly ben. And i hope dean gets to be good dad to ben and doesnt repeat his father's mistakes.
As for the whole grandpa and 3rd cousins coming back... i mean c'mon really they're just milking this superntural thing a bit to much now with that. Hopefully they bring some drama and twists with them.
