There is to much smoke when I try and do fire spells where you burn paper and let the fire set forth the magick. Should i just use little pieces of paper, because the fire alarm is right outside my door. And I dont' want to wake anybody up at night when i'm doing my stuff. my family knows what i'm doing I just don't want to wake them up when i'm casting and stuff. I light candles and incense all the time but when i try and do a fire spell, it litterally all goes up in smoke.
any help would be great, thank you, avalonwatcher

I think I will go for smaller pieces of paper. I don't trust a fire and being outside in an apartment complex. so me thinks me shall use smaller pieces of paper.

That sounds like a good idea, the smaller peices, I mean. You don't want to set off the fire alarm.

I would definately suggest using smaller pieces of paper. If the spell requires that you use the whole sheet of paper, then you can burn it in turns. Small bits until they're ash, and then adding more. Less in the pot means less smoke.
