It was a rare event that she managed to not only finish all her commissions, but to finish them ahead of the deadlines, but that was the event she was currently in the mood to celebrate. Grabbing a small spiral-bound notebook and pencil which she shoved into her coat pocket, Leiliana left her small apartment, affectionately called the Loft, and wandered downtown to a cafe she'd chanced upon. Reversed.
Finding the place no busier than usual, she entered and quickly made her way to the back corner booth she'd claimed as her own. Making sure that nobody was paying any attention to her, she hummed a few bars softly, pulling the notebook from her pocket. With the high she was currently on, with the success of finishing her commissions, she thought she might be able to indulge in her hidden hobby, being an amateur lyricist, and perhaps managing to finally finish the song.
Humming softly, she flipped through the pages, finally reaching the song that was giving her such grief.
I know it's a lie but let my traitorous heart believe once more that maybe you had cared for me...
The sentiment was right, but the words... were just off somehow.

Feuer had been sitting at the bar for most of morning. It was a rare occasion he to go leave the tent for a bit to try some of the Reversed's special soup, and have a beer or two. It was also a time where he could think about his next routine. Every night it had to be different, or else the show would be predictable and less entertaining for returning guests...
For some reason Leiliana's humming stood out among the murmurs of the shop. It was a strange tune, nothing he had heard before. He set down his mug and looked around the shop for the origin of this tune.
When his gaze finally caught sight of the Delcatty-human he couldn't help but chuckle. Though she was not as elegant as Aysuu, this purple haired being reminded him a bit of her. Perhaps she had the same interest?
Being the outgoing sort he was, Feuer removed himself from the stool and made his way past the customers to Leiliana's table. He stood just opposite where the delcatty was siting. His tall frame towered over the other persons in the shop.
"Entschuldigen Sie mich Frau, I could not help but hear your music. Do you write the songs?" His voice was deep, most fitting for his appearance, but quite friendly.

Leiliana tapped the pencil against her lips as she considered. This was the best version of the song that she had come up with so far. The words were almost there, they just weren't quite right yet. She huffed softly to herself, This may have only been a hobby to her, but the same as with her art, she couldn't let anything go until it was perfect. And this particular song, it was more important to her than most.
So wrapped up was she in her creative process, that Leia didn't notice the arrival of the large male until he spoke, his deep voice startling her out of her thoughts. Intimidated by the stranger's very size, she started the shrink somewhat into herself. At least until she caught a glimpse of his eyes which were a bright friendly crimson. She decided to take a chance.
"Pardon me, but I don't understand." She blushed "at least, the first sentence. What was that you said?"
She look down at the spiral bound notebook, and the words she was just trying to get right. "Not, really. That is to say, yes I do attempt to write songs, but its just a hobby."
She noted his rather strange attire, got very curious- hell she was a kitten- and just had to ask. "I don't mean to be rude or anything but just what is it that you do that has you attired so... differently?"

Feuer blinked. Most of the time he did not realize that he had drifted into a different language when speaking. It was something he picked up in a distant land, one he frequented often. The affect really wasn't noticeable until he became a poke'human.
"Achk, hmn-" He had to think of the right words for a quick moment. "AH, 'Excuse me Madam' is what I was speaking." He nodded.
Feuer couldn't help but feel slightly bad when the young woman begun to shrink back in possible intimidation. It was a common reaction from people who had never seen him before, but still he didn't like to scare the ladies or young ones. His smile widened in hopes to ease this fear if but a little.
"I ask because your song was different, it made me think of my friend who sings. Your tune was most beautiful. A hobby is still a skill."
Her second inquiry made him laugh a little. He hadn't really thought on the fact he was so strangely dressed compared to the other inhabitants here. His puffy smokey/white tail flicked to mirror his amusement.
"Oh ho, It is not 'rude'!" He laughed again. "I am ein Darsteller-" Luckily he caught himself that time. "Ah, performer. I dance and fight with the fire in the night performance."
