Dio moved over and opened the car door for his friend. He was happy he could do something to help, even if it was such a little thing. 'Make sure you put her seat belt on.' He phased through the other doors and settled himself inside the car.
Merci was fast. She was practiced at handling herself in the store by now, and closing up didn't take her longer then five minutes. Her tail flicked behind her as she put the key in the front door to the shop and turned it, placing the final lock on it.
She was happy to find Dio already settled and ready to go. Usually she waited on him when they were ready to take off. He was dilly dallying around the back room, or trying to find some excuse to stay out. However she realized that the possibility of finding out where Red lived exactly was probably what was driving him to be so well behaved.
With periodic directions from Zero and Red, Merci pulled the SUV up in front of their domicile. The goodbyes were quick, it was obvious that Zero needed her sleep.
After all, it wouldn't be the last time they saw each other.
