How did you first hear of Gaia, and why did you join?
I found out about it in 2004 through a friend whos been on here since 2003 (and has all those rare and expensive items).I joined in 2005 because I was home 24/7 and needed something to do.Started off just playing games and fishing.It wasnt until 2006, when I started hanging out at PFFs thread, where I really started to get into the site.And Ive been here ever since! Met some amazing people, and those people are the reason I am still on here.

Gaia is awesome. I couldn't ever leave because I'd have nothing to do! Gaia makes me feel great because my guild and thread are such an achievement of mine. I wish I could show employers what I've built and kept up with so they could see I'm creative and organized.
I was turned on to Gaia by a friend. I was playing Neopets at the time and it was getting really lame. I only went on to participate in a guild I had there because chats were lame and the games were horrible.

i came to gaia by a friend too.i had a different account,but it was hacked.i wasnt EVER on gaia at first,but then i tried it again one day and here i am!
more peer presure!

This is my third account DX but i also have a forth 4laugh
The first, my friend gave me a username i could never remember, so forgot about it. Second was called pizzafreak, but forgots password, then i came back after about a year, in 2006. And created a new account called pizza_freak, ive recently renamed myself 1vyD00dL3 though blaugh
I think i joined this guild in 2007 whee
I started gaia because a friend was playing, lol, i was on neopets at the time too whee but soon forgot about that blaugh

I was on YouTube at the time that one of my friends told me about a wonderful site and that I should check it out, so naturally I did and I got addicted to it.
I always thought that Gaia came before homework.
I recently took a two year break because I was soooooo consumed by Gaia that I thought that it was time to take a break (also it started to get boaring).
When I came back I decided to look through Chatterbox and I found Freak's thread and she told me about her guild and I decided to check it out and I've been here ever since.

I was bored and i was loooking for social networking
sites, Gaia came up. I got bored after a few months .
I was Lady Slug at first . then I came back after
a year as Wakkimon. I'd be bored to death without it?

In 2004, during computer class, my friends got really bored and discovered the site, and they therefore dragged me along as well.
I love Gaia for two major reasons, a) Meeting new people and making new friends (See mom? I'm social!)
b) I love changing my avi (:
I did try to leave Gaia though, I was getting pretty upset with their 'Everything we're coming out with now that's even worth a s**t is gonna be in the cash shop!", and made it an entire year without logging in, but somehow I got pulled back into it all, and I can't say I'm upset about it. :3

 I'm on Gaia because of PukeFacedFreak. When we met & started dating over four years ago, she told me about her guild & I signed up. Of course that was a different account then, & a different time in my life. But here I am four years later, still stalking PFF & her amazing thread! heart
