Guardian Info~
Name: Zinnia
Goes by: Nia
Race: Dryad
Age: 3415
Apparent Age: 18~ish
Vernacular: Somewhat formal, friendly.
Home: Originally in the forest of Lynwood.
Appearance: Standing at a surprising 5 foot and 9 inches, Nia is tall and thin with almond-tinted skin. Her waist-length hair mimics sunlight in its tint and her eyes are wide and as deep brown as healthy soil. Her face is quite young and her smile is radiant with childish joy.
Personality Outline: Nia is quite the cheerful tree spirit, motherly and kind almost to a fault. She has saved many an orphan abandoned in the forest, and cared for many who came to her lonely or hurt. It's entirely against her nature to turn a child away, let alone even think of hurting one. Despite her sweet, friendly nature, she has another side of her that you shouldn't ever mess with. She's incredibly protective of every single one of her orphaned children.
History: Despite her age, Nia has a rather uninteresting past - at least, in her own eyes. For the last few hundred years, she has been closely involved with Lynwood's younger generation, and she has a great amount of affection for them. However, in the last 50 or so years, many of them have not returned to her and fewer orphans are wandering into the forest, so she's decided to go live in Gaia. Saying that she's pleasantly surprised to find so many of "her children" living in Gaia is a gross understatement.
Positive traits: Wise but sensitive, incredibly loyal and protective, affectionate and doting, curious.
Negative traits: Stubborn to a fault, unwavering when angered, too kind and self-sacrificing for others.
Weaknesses: Children, orphans, babies, fellow spirits, anyone she holds close to her heart.
Special talents: Control and growth of all kinds of plants, ability to communicate with animals, healing abilities.
Fears: Being alone and forgotten.
Crippling fear: Seeing harm befall any of her orphans.
Likes: Gardening, cooking, caring for children, teaching, and listening.
Dislikes: Blind anger, unnecessary violence, foolishness, those who turn a blind eye to orphans, most humans.
Hates: Those who abandon their children, the awful thing humans call 'construction' or 'renovation'.
Bad habits: Saying "I love you!" a little too easily, growing attached to children too quickly.
Most likely to be: Optimistic, cheerful, upbeat, doting.
Quick to show: Joy, confusion.
Slow to be: Angry, hostile, flirtatious.
Past loves: Well, with a life lived as long as hers, you'd think she'd have more but thankfully she only has one - an elf she more admired or had great affection for than actually loved. You know, other than that one wood spirit who has always been strangely fond of her.
Facts to know: This is the first time she's wandered outside the realm of Lynwood, and therefor her first interactions with humans and their society. Thali is teaching her what she needs to know, but it's still all very strange to her.
