She gone and done it again. Vanished! He'd just seen her not ten minutes ago, and it was almost time to open for lunch and she JUST WASN'T HERE.
Arms and legs crossed, sitting in one of the chairs inside the tiny shop, hand and foot twitch in an irritated way, and tail flicking, he glared at the shops door. Oh, she was definitely going to get it this time....

Clutching a paper shopping bag in her arms, Rochelle rushed back towards her work. She had hoped it would only take a few minutes to go and get it, but had no such luck. Her feet throbbed as she dashed down the sidewalk, her heels making loud clacks with each step. As the first drops of rain begin to fall, the chingling silently cursed to herself. Of course it would rain! There was no way her day could get any better!
By the time she managed to get in the door of Reversed, every inch of her was drenched, from head to toe. Her humiliation was doubled when she saw the persian waiting for her, a none-too-pleased look on his face.
"P-Pierre! Why are you waiting out here?"

He eyed the drenched Chingling with those none-too-pleased eyes, mouth pressed into a stern line. He blinked twice, uncrossed his arms and legs and stood, walking over to Rochelle. "You're drenched."
With that, he took her by arm and dragged her into the warm kitchen where he found a towel and held it out to her, that same look still on his face, however etched with slight worry.
"Where were you. Your shifted started ten minutes ago."

"I just had to go run and pick something up. It started raining on the way back. I'm fine." She took the towel without question, quickly trying to dry herself off and hide her embarrassment. "It's not like I've never been caught in the rain before. It happens all the time." Tugging at her hair ties, she slowly took her hair down to dry it all properly, the loose strands falling down around her shoulders. "Since when are you so worried about me, anyways?"
Chuckling, she ran the towel over her arms, her nose wrinkling in disgust. "My uniform is soaked." She attempted to pat it down with the towel, but only managed to make herself colder, a shiver rolling down her spine. "I guess I could run home and get dressed..." A quick glance towards the door changed her mind for her. "Or..." Her eyes drifted to her bag and her cheeks flushed.

His eyebrows rose as she saw her shiver and her eyes drift towards the bag. Sensing a plan, he smirked, tossing her another towel.
"You've got five minutes. Dry off, warm up and change and work in what ya got. 'Cause you've already wasted part of my time today."
He smirked at her, eying the bag.

Giving him a distrustful, embarrassed look, Rochelle grabbed the towel and her bag and hurried towards the restrooms. A few minutes later, she slipped back out, sheepishly holding one of the towels in front of herself.
"I really think I should just run home and change. I don't think this is proper work attire." She gave Pierre a pleading glance, then lowered the towel to reveal the dress she had picked up from the tailor.

What he had been expecting, was not what he was expecting at all. When his eyes fell on Rochelle when she returned from changing, the ladle he was stirring the soup on the stove with dropped into the soup, making a messy splash.
However his face kept emotionless, other than that little display as he turned towards her, suddenly looking calculating now. He walked towards her, circling around her, tail swishing. "This was your surprise?" he purred. "For me?"
His eyebrows rose as he eyed the Chingling, stopping in front of her, leaning forward very slightly. "It's lovely. And as my top waitress, you are able to wear what you want, as long as it has a professional... appeal to it. so I think you'll do fine. But. To make you feel more comfortable, maybe an apron?"
Ah yes. He was indeed pleased with this little development. So much so, he would reward her with a little more insight. "And I worry because I care, darling Rochelle."

She let out a tiny gasp when he dropped his ladle, but quickly silenced herself and practically shrank in place as Pierre moved to her. "I-it wasn't for you! It's just something that I was planning to wear on my next day off when I went out..." Her eyes fell quickly to her feet, their earlier pain completely ignored. There was no way she could say that her 'going out' was to come in and say hi. He would tease her for the rest of her life if he even so much as thought that was the case!
She glanced up for a moment, then over to her bag. "I don't think my apron got too wet..." Without any hesitation, she dug through her wet clothes and pulled up her apron, only slightly damp. Better than nothing. She quickly threw it on and tied it about her wiast, the bottom of the apron falling well past the hem of her dress. "I r-really don't think that this is proper attire for work..." She shifted her glance back at a pot behind her, cating a glimpse of herself in its reflection. It was a pretty dress, of course, but she had asked that they take in the waist and let out the chest some. Not once did she mention raising the hem, but that was too late now.

Eye brows quirked as he noted her flushing, very curious indeed. He smiled, chuckling. "Now, now. I know excatly what you're up to, my dear."
He flicks the bell earring and smiled, most cat like. Then placed a hand gently to the small of her back for a few seconds before poking her with a finger. "No excuses. You're fine. Get out there. Hmm?"
He proceeded to push her through the door, that same smirk on his face.
