I. Hoi Hippoi
The first version of hippoi established, the Hoi Hippoi are regular horses. They are created by the gods from clouds which then float through the sky down to earth, where a lucky human being will find the foal contained within. Whomever finds the cloud becomes the hippoi's companion and caretaker and is from then on responsible for the creature, lest they wish to anger the gods.
Hoi are swift, beautiful creatures. Whether a hippoi chooses to remain wild or domesticate themselves for the sake of their human, they will always hold ties with their human, much like their patron god.
Hippoi personalities range from either end of the emotional spectrum. Though generally good-hearted, it is possibly for hippoi to be led astray by Hades, god of the Underworld and adopt nastier tempers.Hoi Doroi
These Hippoi were founded completely by accident, they are said to be gifts from the gods.
Doroi are strong and nimble, having double the strength and stamina of hippoi. These creations are much rarer, being found only by the truest of hearts. There are rumors that doroi are indeed found by shadier characters and are used to bring darkness to the surface world but this is only a rumor of course! Some doroi strike it off on their own, living in the wild, but many remain domesticated to protect their humans as the gods intended.

The Mikroi are like miniature versions of regular Hoi, their little bodies not rising very high off the ground. Anatomically they are practically the same as the Hoi, only smaller in stature.
The Mikroi tend to have ornery or stubborn personalities, once they have made up their mind, it is very hard to change it.
