⊗Victor⊗Lorel⊗DeVontra⊗ ▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆ ▆▆ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Victor did have to admit, his mood had changed considerably over a course of minutes with the girl, but he wouldn't change it. He quickly understood he needed her to be calm, and not run. He could catch her though. "Apology excepted, but in a house like this? You expect me to hear you? I only stumbled upon you by looking for your father."Obviously, he did hear her, but as far as he knew, the girl had no idea what he was. It was obvious, because even though he could hear her accelerated heart rate, it was slower than usual for things like this. She was only frightened. Once they caught once each others gaze, he starred blankly at her, she was trying to be tough, but failing. "I do know your name, but you didn't ask for mine very politely now did you? However, out of courtesy, its Victor."He rose an eyebrow at her, and once more, began to adjust his tie and come up behind her. "I do apologize, Miss. You just looked like you could use some rest. My hostility wasn't necessary, and I realized that."He went to turn, to try and find Micheal to help just snatch both up, but stopped in his tracks and turned on his heel back toward the girl. "What conditions are you going to make to allow my father to leave here in one piece? When you have a hostage, there is some sort of ransom is there not?" A sick and wide grin slid over his lips, and he spun back around, placing his fingertips together. "I might be able to think of something."
He had never used one of his victims as ransom before, because no one ever came looking, but he could certainly take advantage of that now. "For reference, I never intended this to be a hostage situation, but...I do have something I can do."He smiled wickedly at Anna and picked up her father, who was nearly just bone. "I will let him go...on one condition."He looked back at the girl. "You stay. Until I no longer need you, and then your free to go."She wouldn't know what that consisted of, but by the desperateness of her voice, she would agree. "I will make sure your father gets to a hospital in the mean time. Any questions?"He looked at the old man, who had respectively been silent, and figured that, if she didn't agree, he would leave them both to die.
As healthy as the girl looked, without guidance or knowing, she would get lost within' the place, left hopelessly to die. No skin off his bones. Not that it would matter. "Those are my conditions, you stay, and do what I wish. When im done, ill let you go."He waved his free hand nonchalantly, while on the inside, calculating how long a few of his siblings could stay out to take the old man, or lack of, to a hospital. Certainly they could get him out and back before sunrise, it was only outside of the forest, not to far off for them. He let go of the old man, letting him sit back on the ground and he leaned forward to Anna, with a raised eyebrow, but an otherwise expressionless face. "What do you say, Anna?"A yes, well that meant things could go smoothly, but a no. Well, then things got complicated, he would have to lock her up, and feeding her would be difficult, and really he didn't want to deal with that. To much hassle for a young girl of her stature. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆ ▆▆ [OutOfCarrots: Pfft, nonesense! Both statements!]

xoxoxoxoxoHer words did get ahead of her head, and his words conformed it. "For reference, I never intended this to be a hostage situation." Annabeth wondered what in the world could he possibly want from her. Unless her monster theory she was working on earlier was actually true, in which case she didn't want to even think of the possibilities. Maybe he needed a maid, this place was disgusting enough, and by his appearance it looked like he liked things clean and sharp. Then again monsters don't always have to be clean. Moving her right hand across her body, she held onto her left arm and contemplated her options. Most of them looked bleak, but he said that he would get her father to a hospital, and that was the most important thing.
"If.... If you promise that he will get to a hospital... Then..." Annabeth paused, fearing her own words. Which wasn't like her at all, and that fact caused her heart to sink. Why was Victors presence, actions, words so different that it caused her to falter. It was infuriating to think someone had such and influence over her, and she loathed it more than the sun can produce hot gas. Her eyes locked onto his, "Then I'll agree to your terms. I'll stay in his stead." Who knew that little statement could wipe away all energy within the human body. Gravity seemed to kick it up a notch as she sank down to the floor. 'Bright side. Happy thoughts. Dads going to get better, that's a start. I have my own clothes, so I don't have to feel as disgusting as this place looks. I'm confident that I can defend myself against him if he tried anything, shady. I can handle this... It's going to be horrible. Just a maid. That's all it is... Maid service.."
Her lungs finally started working once more and the gravity of the situation lightened a bit. A conversation to oneself always lifts the mood if the correct words are said. ((Yes I actually just said that. XD)) Who knows how much time passed as she sat on the ground. But that slow tingly feeling within her legs subsided and she felt good enough to stand. Annabeth rose to her feet, and mindlessly walked towards her things. Scoffing at the irony that in fact she did bring her own things, at least she won't get bored. Music and books, that's all one needs to survive any situation. Slinging her backpack over her shoulder, she took a hold of her suitcase and looked around. It indeed wasn't very homey, she was curious where this Victor slept, or if he actually lived her. Since she wasn't leaving any time soon, she needed to find a place to call her own. A bed, a room, a sofa, something to sit down and relax. "Oh please let their be a working bathroom" She pleaded to herself.

⊗Victor⊗Lorel⊗DeVontra⊗ ▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆ ▆▆ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ This girls moves and emotions were easily watchable, her heart rate, her nervous but curious movements. She was a lovely young girl, smart but somewhat naive at the same time, and with bright eyes. A grin spread wide over Victors lips, hiding a bit of mischief, and he slowly traced an 'X' over his heart. "Cross my heart, and hope to die, little lady."He could tell she was brave, especially for a girl, which he wasn't used to, but he didn't falter when she locked eyes with him. Now that took courage. She gained just the tiniest bit of respect for that, for her bravery. "Lovely choice." He watched her sink to the floor, giving her props for staying up so long int he first place. With a turn of his heel, he leaned forward down the hall and gave a soft whistle. There was a soft padding, and slowly a small teddy bear came into the light of the room, slightly ripped at the seams. "Hello Alex." Victor gave the tiniest smile to the small bear, and it looked up "What can I do for you, brother?" "What a lovely question. You see, dear Anna hear has made a deal with me, and keeping my end of the line, I need Christopher here taken to the hospital." "Alive?" "Well, it certainly doesn't matter to me, gather everyone up to make sure he at least gets there." There voices remained below a whisper, and the small bear scurried off to gather the rest of his sad siblings. To be honest, they had all been scared of Victor for many years, his demeanor no longer that of what it used to be. His siblings loved him no matter what, but he had become something they were scared of from the start, heartless. Every was even more frightened of what might come next. Though this was the last chance for the clock, the last time for the curse, they were afraid Victor would lose every bit of his humanity, his ability to care for his family, even if they were intimate objects.
Victor, however, was not concerned with this matter, and turned his attention back to Anna. She'd gathered her things, and looked expectant, curious. She was an odd girl, where was the running and screaming? He shrugged it off, and waited for Alex to return.
"Everyone has been gathered. They will be taking care of Christopher shortly." "Good, now Alex I have a special job for you." "What would that be, Vic?" "Victor, Alex. Now, I want you to escort miss Anna to the baths." "And what are you doing in this time?" "Readying her room." "Ah, of course. Right away." Victor gave Anna one more up-down, taking her in, and then smiled pleasantly, and left the room, leaving Alex to escort. He brushed off his dusty fabric and padded over to Anna, tapping her leg. "Hello, Miss Anna. My name is Alex, and im going to take you to the bath. Do you have proper clothes?" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆ ▆▆ [OutOfCarrots: Nay! xoxoxoxoxoSomething tapped against her leg, and she instantly turned around to see no one there. But then a Anna heard a voice, there had to be someone. Looking down to where she felt the tap she saw a teddy bear. He was worn out a little bit, and old. But still he was cute. Bending over, she picked it up carefully. "If I didn't know better. I would have sworn you were the one that talked to me." She mumbled as if she was talking to herself. But he was the one that talked to her. Her eyes widened as she realized that this was no ordinary bear. "Clearly I'm just dreaming. No way this is happening. So I suppose for the dream to end I have to go along with it. That's how it usually worked wasn't it?" Anna never really had dreams like that, or like this, where was a problem. She just dreamed how normal people would, or so she would like to assume most people.
"Yes. I have clothes." Still holding onto the bear, she allowed it to lead the way towards the bath. It was no grand bath a mansion in Hollywood would have, but it wasn't all that bad. She would be able to get clean which would be nice. Recalling the events since her father has been missing, deciphering the big blur within her mind it was hard to remember the last time she was able to bathe properly. But she was in a house with a male, and talking objects. Would the sink talk to her while she got clean or something? It was like a mad house. Closing the door behind her, she set her things there just as a block, and to make her feel safer. As safe one could be at least. "Alex was it? You don't mind staying in here with me? It was a bear, what harm could it do? Walking over to the sink, she got a rag and run it under some water. Picking the bear carefully up again, she began to clean. He was old and rugged, this would be something nice to do in return. "I know I most likely don't have to do this. However, I want to. If that makes sense... I don't know what makes sense anymore..." She continued to tidy the bear up, with a small smile on her face. In all actuality she was hiding back her tears. Who knows how long she was going to have to stay or what she was going to have to do.
Setting the bear down on the sink she took a step back. "You look so much better." Turning back on her work she started the bath water. Getting the outfit she was going to wear after she got out of the tub ready for her, and the towels where she wanted them. She stripped out of her clothes, dropping them by her other things and got into the tub. The water did feel nice, sinking into the water a little bit more, she glanced at the bear. "I don't know if you hear this a lot, but I've been wondering while I was polishing you up a bit. What exactly are you. I don't think stores hold bears that are alive." It was a genuine question, and she didn't mean to offend at all. Pure curiosity at it's finest.

⊗Victor⊗Lorel⊗DeVontra⊗ ▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆ ▆▆ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ One thing Alex admired, even as a bear, was how brave this girl was at the moment. Most would be running away, or would have kicked him, which wouldn't have been a first. She was nothing but kind, and though his brother had never been mean to him, compassion was something Alex hadn't experienced in a very, very, long time. She held him gently, and washed him clean, and if he could, he would have cried. "You are to kind Miss Anna.."He said quietly, sighing and pressing his paws together. "Things may not much sense to you, but I promise I will make sure you are as comfortable as I can. My brother can be very mysterious and harsh at times, but deep down he is a very compassionate and loving person."Even though he said that, it was very deep down where this part of victor was. It had been a long time since anyone had even seen a glimmer of his old self. Alex looked at himself in the mirror when Anna was done, he looked somewhat new, and a small smile came over his furry face. "Thank you, Miss." He said, and made his way onto the side of the tub to sit, thinking over what she would have to go through.
Victor was indecisive, and at this very moment he could have been wavering between just killing Anna now or actually doing what he planned. That scared all of his siblings. His small ears gave a twitch, and he looked at Anna as she asked him what exactly he was. He chuckled "Well, im a talking bear."That was a simple way to put it, he supposed. "I am Alex Monray DeVontra, younger sibling of Victor, who you just met. I am an actual person..i'm just.."He hesitated, and looked toward the bath. "Cursed. I'm afraid everyone in this house is cursed, and no matter the appearance, we're all very old, and we're once human, but bound to objects."He explained, motioning toward his teddybear appearance. "My youngest sister is a doll, and one of the others is a candle."They had lots of siblings and servants with the unfortunate fate of being turned into..whatever.
"Do not fear though, miss, I promise you won't turn into a shoe. We bear the curse, not passerby."He stood up, walking along the bathtub side. "If you must fear anything, it is my brother."He loved Victor, but this girl was very caring, and decided if she was staying, she needed a warning, a proper one. "My brother isn't exactly like you, and his temper can sometimes get out of control, but as i've said, deep down, he is a nice person. I just want to warn you that if things get to out of hand with him, you can talk to me or any of the objects here that you can find. We are all very kind, I promise." ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆ ▆▆ [OutOfCarrots:I apologize for my absence! I suck I know D: ]

xoxoxoxoxoA curse, her heart couldn't help but go out to him. What could they have done to get a curse on them, what kind was it. Why was Victor different. Her brain started to turn with the situation as she watched the bear move on it's own accord. I don't think she would get used to that, not only that but the fact they were having an actual conversation. Anna inhaled slightly and went under the water to start washing her hair, and to clear her head. The last part of what Alex said scared her a bit. It was a clear warning, she could decipher that out. Coming out of the water she pulled her hair back out her face, wrapping herself in a towel. "Alex... Thank you for the concern. But aren't you always going to be with me? I mean, am I to be alone unless called for or something?"
Wringing out her hair, she pulled it up into a messy bun, it was nice to be able to bath, it had been a while and it was needed. She felt refreshed, cleaned, and ready to go with whatever was thrown in her direction. Taking a deep breath to steady herself, she went over to her clothes that she had laid out, and began to get dressed after doing a once more with the towel. Her jeans hugged her perfectly, and the tank top was great to get work down, and easy to sleep in. In which she could only have to change her pants before she went to sleep. Cleaning what mess she had made, Anna bent over and picked up Alex carefully. "I don't know what I'm suppose to do after the bath.. Do you have any ideas?" She inquired softly before opening the door with her things in tow, still haven't put them down as she walked down the hallway slowly.

⊗Victor⊗Lorel⊗DeVontra⊗ ▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆ ▆▆ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Alex's ear gave a tiny twitch, and he stood up, looking at Anna. That was a good question. "Well..no. I just never thought about staying around.."Usually anyone who wasn't family was just..lying around or chained up, depending on their condition. Or gone within' a few hours, but, Anna would be around for awhile, and she could walk freely. Victor hadn't set any rules yet, so she was a free bird in a large cage. Though her figured over time, many rules would be set. "If it is what you want, I would be more than happy to accompany you."Things did get lonely around the house, but they had grown accustom to it. It would be a nice change. She was kind even though he was different, maybe she could change Victor. That would never be an easy task for anyone, but his family always hoped that he would go back to who he used to be. Or at least just a little, he was completely lost.
Getting comfortable into Anna's hand, Alex looked at her and thought for a minute. "I could show you around the house..Oh! I'm certain that your room is ready. Victor works..fast."Alex didn't want her to have to carry her things around, and he didn't know if Victor wanted to speak with her or not, but he might be in her room if so, but he hadn't got to feed yet either..Anna wouldn't even expect it, but, as much as Alex wanted her to be comfortable, he didn't want to warn her of Alex's...condition. She would learn, most likely soon. Hopefully it wasn't painful, he was never present for the feeding. He just took care of the people after it happened, they were always a little..out of it, and scared.
A small knock brought Alex back to his attention, and he looked toward the door. "Alex, I wish to speak with you. Immediately."Victors voice wasn't harsh, but he didn't want to run Anna off now did he? Alex stood up and gave a boy to Anna before leaping from her hands and slipping out of the door when Victor opened it for him. He gave it a soft shut, and walked off a small distance so Anna would not hear.
"Alex, my friend, why is it that you warned that girl of me?" "I don't know what your talking about, brother." "Don't act like you know I can't hear you. Your being to kind to that girl." "There is nothing wrong with being kind, Victor." "There is not use being kind, she won't be here long. Besides, she just a measly human, nothing important." "Well i'm human too! Does that make you treat me differently!"
Victor faltered, and starred at his brother, not only had he rose his voice, but he had actually stood up for himself. He wanted to shout back at him, he was nothing but a stupid toy! But that thought alone made him..ashamed. "No..Your my brother.."He kept a composed face, but that had made him think. It stung him for some reason, an emotion that he hadn't had for awhile had surfaced. "Send her to her chambers, and have Milly make dinner. I don't want her to get weak."With that, he lumbered off to his room, and letting out a sigh, Alex padded back to the bathroom to take Anna to her room to drop off her things. He gave a small tap on the door. "Anna? I'm ready to take you to your room now."If she asked what he wanted, he would make something up. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆ ▆▆ [OutOfCarrots:Its perfectly fine dear (: ]

xoxoxoxoxoAnna couldn't help but smile. This whole situation is rather grim, and depressing, but even now it was alright. She made a friend, and she couldn't be more happy. Alex was a blessing to her. Her eyes followed him as he walked out after the knock on the door. Her instincts made her want to listen, but it wasn't right to do so. She waited and soon enough he knocked on the door. Opening the door slightly she glanced down at the small bear, picking him up. "Yes, I'm ready."
Following his direction she went to her room, and was impressed. Despite the look and feel of the house, it was nice. Cleaned and respectable. She set Alex down carefully on her bed and put her things in the corner of the room, sitting down on the bed next to him. It was more comfy than she thought, laying on her back she let out a content sigh. "Alex... What did you look like when you were human? How old are you?" Was that rude of her to ask?
Glancing over at the small bear, she was clearly worried that she offended his feelings. Then again, she asked him earlier what he was, and that could have been taken offensively. "I don't mean to be rude.. I just want to know more about my friend, if I"m going to spend time with you" That made it more awkward. Great. She got up, and started to put her things away, what little things that she did have. 'I wonder if I would be allowed to shop. How long would I be here anyways... I shouldn't get my hopes up, I just replaced my father. And my father looked like he was dying. I most likely going to get killed... Should I try and escape since Victor kept his promise and helped my father... ' Thoughts raced through her head while she unpacked, placing her hand on her stomach as it grumbled slightly. It wasn't a good thing to not eat as long as she had.

"Its been a long time, i'll have to think about it."How long had it been, they all watched the clock, he knew how many years but, since he had seen himself human. So long..So very long. He closed his eyes and thought hard, and eventually the image started to come to him. "Well, I am only a year younger than my brother. 19, not counting curse years. I'm only a slight bit taller than Victor as well, but are looks are a little different."He chuckled, he remembered how him and his brother would always get in arguments over their looks. Alex looked older, he was more mature, even thought he was younger. They would get in lots of fights over stupid things. "I have blonde hair, its kinda of..shaggy. Blue eyes, straight teeth, somewhat built.. Its hard to remember after so long of not seeing myself..I guess..Thats what I look like. I guess, maybe one day you can see, but only if the curse wares off."The only problem was, getting rid of the curse.
He smiled at her and shook his small head. "Don't fret, I don't mind answering your questions. Its natural that your curious. Feel free to ask away."He would do his best to answer them, even if his brother didn't want her to know. Victor had a temper problem now, he had lots of problems, but, Alex knew that he would never hurt him. Thats why he tested him. Alex knew what was right, even if he was just a stuffed bear now. "It's better that you do ask me the questions you have when you have them. I'll tell you the truth, and Victor would probably scoff at you. Or ignore it. He gets better though, once he gets used to you, it should be okay."
Alex padded over to the end of the bed and let his legs swing over. Would his brother be able to get used to her? He had very few gentle moments. He would garden, their mothers old garden, that was the only thing he was tender with anymore, and the whole thing was locked off. Alex had only seen it once since the curse, but Victor took great care of the garden, but was yelled at after and hadn't entered since. "Anna, let me know if you get hungry, and I can escort you to the kitchen. Victor is having something made in case you do." ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆ ▆▆ [OutOfCarrots: Yay : D I love you too! ]

xoxoxoxoxoAnna couldn't help but smile, "Hopefully one day I might. It would be less odd talking to another person rather than a bear..." And from what he described, he sounded like her type, that's when she didn't spend all of her time in the books, and had that sliver of a social life that everyone else seemed to bask in every moment of every day. But his comparison and what she seen of Victor, it was hard to imagine that they were related. And apparently there was a younger sister also, her mind instantly wondered who the sister was more like. Her attention was taken by how cute the bear looked on her bed, swinging his legs over the side. She may not show that side of her often, but she was still a girl, and it couldn't be helped. Cuteness just tugged at her heartstrings.
"Now that you mention it... I am kinda slightly hungry... But before we leave.. I do have another question..." A pause in her soft voice as her eyes glanced down. How to word this. Anna noticed that he didn't say how old he was with the curse, just before the curse. And why was Victor different than the rest of them. There was so many question swarming in her head, it was hard to pick which one to start with. "You know what, another time. I think my stomach is out ruling my head" Maybe it would be best to ask Victor, because at that time she could also figure out what her being there means exactly. The details are still a little foggy.
Smiling softly she arose back onto her feet, making small adjustments to her clothes. She shouldn't get too comfortable, but it was hard not to with Alex near her. Bear or not, she can tell that he was a kind hearted spirit, and she really connected with that. "Do you wish to walk, or shall I carry you?" She naturally picked him up before, but maybe he liked to do things on his own. She didn't really know. Anna wouldn't like depending on someone, even if she was a bear. It wasn't in her nature. She didn't really like the feeling of needing someone, which is why she was out of most social circles, because without the circle, most people would fall apart and it was rather pathetic in her eyes.

He had always longed for a family, and wanted to see his sister grow up, they hadn't aged, they were just stuck in time. Their younger sister was only 16, but now, she acted around 30. She had to grow up, and never got to enjoy her teenage years. Alex would have to comfort her day in and out countless times, trying to convince her that the curse would be broken, and that she would be free. In reality, he had to tell himself that a lot. Looking in the mirror, it was just bad for all of the people in the mansion. Most of them had been taken down in general. Right now, his job was to look after Anna though, so he couldn't worry about the curse breaking, who knew, maybe she was the key. The only one that knew though, was Victor and Alex. The rest of the family had no idea what broke the curse. It seemed impossible though. The only even remotely human Alex had seen of Victor was when he left to care for the garden, and playing piano. It was rare to see him do either anymore. He'd had such hope with piano too. Alex straightened up, wondering what Anna had wanted to know, and tilted his head a little when she didn't ask. He gave her a small smile, and nodded. "Alright Anna, don't be afraid to ask though, your safe with me."He meant that to the best of his ability. Victor would never hurt any of the family, yell, or be pushy, yes, but never hurt them. So If Alex really wanted too, he could stop his brother, but the thought scared him.
Alex never thought he would reach the day where he would be scared to stand up to his own brother, but it had come. Victor wasn't who he used to be. Looking at Anna from the bed, he had to think, did he want to be carried? She had done it before, and it was a rather kind gesture, he just wanted used to it, kindness was strictly shared between the family when they actually saw eachother. "I'd like to be carried, it was nice."He smiled, and waited to be picked up, before getting comfortable in her hands. She was warm. It was pleasant. Being in the hallway, he directed her around till they reached the kitchen, and he looked at Anna. "My sister is the cook here. Milly, she's a very good cook."He explained before they actually reached the inside of the kitchen where a red haired rag-doll with black button eyes, one a little loose, was adding the finishing touches to random items of food.
"Oh, hello Alex. Is this the new girl that everyone had been buzzing about?" "Yes, her name is Anna, she'll be staying for awhile, im keeping an eye on her, she's very lovely." "I see, has something gotten into Victor?" "Hah, no, i'll explain everything later." "Okay, thank you. I was just curious. It's very nice to meet you, Anna."
Milly dusted off her fabric, and did a small bow, giving Anna a smile. Milly like Alex before Anna had cleaned him, was a little worn. She had many patches and stitches along her frame, from little kitchen incidents that Alex had tried to patch up, but she was always there to smile for anyone who needed it. Even if she didn't have one herself. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆▆ ▆▆ ▆▆ [OutOfCarrots: Sorry I always take forever on these ): I always get writers block on these posts! ]

xoxoxoxoxoAnna followed his directions, mulling over what he said, and just how he said it. Her heart went out to this little creature, and she barely knew him. Maybe his brother was like him, Victor was a mystery. She still doesn't know what she is going to be doing here. It was impulsive of her to trade places with her father. Glancing around as she walked, it was a mystery what compelled her to enter such a house in the first place. This place was destroyed, old, musty, and gross. The bathroom was fine, her room was fine, everything else was not. Hopefully she will just be asked to cleaned and then she could be on her way. She only had two changes of clothes, and would need to get more if she was expected to stay longer.
And now she was presented with a doll, and it was more sad looking than the bear. She knelt down and wondered if she could stitch up the doll, or if it would hurt her putting the button back into place. But there are patches, so she might have been fixed before. "It is very nice to meet you too" The corner of her lips turned into a small smile, before it faded. A chill went down her spine and she couldn't help but look over her shoulder. Nothing was there, and that was very strange. "Is this house haunted...?" She glanced back at the dolls as she carefully set Alex on the floor, getting onto her feet just so she could defend herself if need be. Or grab Milly and Alex and run.
