Personality Quirks
*Loyal to a fault, it takes a lot to break his trust, but it also takes a lot to gain it.
*Quick to annoy slow to truly anger, slow to forgive (unless you're Mark)
*Sarcasm is the lowest form of humor and the one he's best at.
*Blunt, there's no sugar coating his words and he doesn't want any given to him.
History
Nox was born to one Mary and James Iori a typical Japanese-American half-blooded family. Or not so typical as the couple was blessed with two children instead of the single son they had been expecting. When Nox's brother was born he was tiny and underdeveloped and very much female at first glance. She was dubbed Illumi, the little light to the darkness of Nox. They were, of course, not named on the spot and totally not because Nox's fine baby hair was black compared to Illumi's bright blond.
As the weeks passed it was clear that little underdeveloped Illumi would have health problems, already they could see that she was missing vital female organs as she slowly grew in her incubation tank. This marked Nox's ease with hospitals and emergency rooms and the resentment and anger towards himself that he could have been the cause of his brothers problems. Despite many missed days both Nox and Illumi attended public school as their parents eventually became too busy to home school them.
As a child Nox was often by himself, or with his brother, until one day he ran into a little girl gifted with a boys name. Mark quickly became Nox's friend, his bestest of friend next to his brother. Eventually Nox came to adore the rest of Marks' family as he spent more and more time with them. Until Illumi's delicate condition finally overrode his stubborn will and sent him into the hospital. His family had to move to America to get the experimental treatment he needed, and so Nox had to leave Kings city.
Two years later he and his brother have returned, Nox to a too large and empty house, Illumi to a nearby hospital where he rests in a not-quite coma.
