This year was my first band camp so I didn't really know what to expect: -while we were doing stretches one guys ripped his pants, hilarious >.< -I nearly fainted after doing a minute of jumping jacks, not fun XP -I witnessed my first band dog-pile aka romp, poor Sam, he hit the ground face-first >.<

We had a day where each grade came up with a theme. My grade decided to cross-dress, so my boyfriend wore a dress and I was "Justin Beaver" rofl rofl rofl I used hair gel to keep my bangs up and it stayed in all day!!! That night was the band camp party and although I wasn't Beaver boy anymore, I had a fun time dancing in grind lines with my friends. whee Band camp is soooo much fun when your Drum Majors are hot guys.

This one time at band camp...Ok so it was our first competition, out band camp is close by so we don't spend the night there and other than a few inappropriate jokes nothing exciting happened because were were all half dead. We Played a game called Squirm in which you must wiggle free of your teammate by any means necessary and get to the other side, The last group to get up also was considered a winner because their teammate was doing it right. I took the any means too literally and though I was teamed up with my boyfriend I flipped backwards elbowed him in the nuts and wigged free. I won that round and bought him a coffee to make up for it XD

It was my first year in marching band, first time at an actual band camp. And well after the first week we had a drill contest, I was the newest member to marching band, actual the entire 7th grade class was, but anyways, we had a drill contest and the last three people were the most experienced person (other than the teachers), the second most experienced student, and me. The second most experienced person lost after one or two drills into the final round. SO it was just me and the most experienced person left. ~dramatic fade in!~ (Couldn't help it) If I lost or won, it was still a huge accomplishment for the 7th graders, and if the most experienced person lost, it was bad for him, and his entire grade. We did more drills, he and I were very tired, but both doing our best. Finally we did a right face and he turned the wrong way and so I won! Huge accomplishment for me and my fellow 7th grade band nerds! I was so happy! And I am still proud of that moment! WOOT!! blaugh
