i believe that Lear is blind to Regan's virtue, and to how others are deceiving him.
but once he loses his physical sight, he gains insight and empathy into his family and the sad old world.
there you go, wrapped up with a bow.

Well I have come up with a thesis similar...ish
Through out the play King Lear, the ignorance King Lear portrays to his daughter leads him to an unhealthy perception of his family and himself. Due to this notion, although he seeks salvation in the play he cannot obtain his redemption.
and i think each boy paragraph is going to be about each daughter and how they blind him. Or in Cordilla's case try to help
