Come Join the Circus.
My Role: The Games Master.
My name is: L'Caller.
But I introduce myself as: The Caller, The Gambler, The Dealer, The Joker, The Mad Hatter (hahaha) and numerous others. Call me what you like.
The number of birthday candles on my cake: I generally go by my appearance as it's nearly impossible to keep count of all the years I've stolen... So, we'll say somewhere around sixteen-seventeen...?
I was born and raised a: Human.
How tall I stand: Five-feet, six-and-a-half-inches.
How much I weigh: About one-fifteen, I think.
What I see in my mirror: I have pictures from when I first started this amazing game--I was much older and had black hair and plenty of scars across my fair skin. However, the more years I took, the younger I looked. Fortunately, I seem to have hit my prime as I've looked about the same for many years, now. I've got honey-colored eyes and white hair--naturally, believe it or not. I've not one scar or deformity on my body, though I've plenty of piercings to decorate my face and chest (as well as a few other places) and a tattoo across my back. This tattoo is a carefully printed 'tribal' design with an ancient incantation, both of which combined give me the powers that I have. It extends over my shoulders and onto my chest, as well as the back of my neck. Most would recognize it only as 'pretty', though very, very few would realize what it was and even fewer can actually read the ancient language written and understand it. I also have two tattoos on my face: one that appears to be a red smudge on my right cheekbone and the other a star centered on my left eye, the tails extending past my eyebrow and jawbone. I usually wear some sort of collar--sometimes a spiked one and other times a simple leather one--and always wear my top hat. My general attire consists of red dress pants and a matching coat, as well as a white button-up shirt, underneath. A black leather belt and shoes finish off my clothing. I wear a lot of gold and silver jewelry and keep my nails a solid black. I have a fairly slim build, though I've got a bit of muscle on me, so I'm not entirely lithe, haha!
How you ended up in this lovely circus: Erin'd met me when I first started playing this game. Back then, I still asked for money and other tangible assets. It was well-known that I never lost a game. Erin, as clever as he is, proposed that I bet myself in this game--if he won, I had to join his circus and play my game with his customers, under his conditions; if I won, I could have twenty-five of his years. His offer was intriguing, of course, though I'd already made my decision. I'd never thought of taking years and the idea of doing such was too good to pass up. That man, however, was better than I expected. He couldn't win against me if I wanted otherwise--skill or luck didn't matter in a game against me. His real talent was his persuasive abilities. That man really wanted me to be a part of his circus. As we played, he spoke to me and slowly convinced me of the wonders. Slowly, my cards changed and I let the game slide in his favor.
From that day on, I was known as L'Caller, the resident Games Master of the Circus Sicarii. It came to be that I loved everyone there and quickly became part of the family. The longer I lived, the less I liked material possessions that only held 'cash' value and the more he enjoyed the simple things in life.
People often say I'm: charismatic and charming. I've also been called rather terrifying for the expression I take when playing my games--rather lifeless and vacant. Outside of my games, I'm quite the pleasant person to be around. I've been called a flirt (and in extreme cases a player), though I just can't help myself sometimes.
Bring that my way!:
♠ - Cake, pies, and other baked goods.
♠ - Strawberries.
♠ - Sunflower seeds.
♠ - Virtually anything red.
♠ - Long, vibrantly colored hair (like neon or deep colors).
♠ - People taller than myself.
♠ - Dogs.
♠ - Overly-confident people.
♠ - Nature.
♠ - Music, particularly anything by Johnny Cash.
I don't want that!:
♠ - Electronics.
♠ - Sunglasses.
♠ - Children and people shorter than five-feet and two-inches.
♠ - Money.
♠ - Cats -- I'm terribly allergic.
Oh, look at me!: Though it's in my own game that I'm best in, I'm capable of cheating in almost any setting. I've got great dexterity and am incredibly observant and stealthy, often acting as the visual security for the circus (if I see a problematic visitor, I report it). My abilities consist of creating cards and various other objects from my own flesh, as well as holding complete control over them. For example, I can create cards from flakes of skin and have them dissolve into nothing at will. As I steal years, I can heal even old wounds and cannot die until my years run out. With this said, my years are relative to my blood--I can bleed to death if my wounds aren't healed in time, my years converted to pints of blood until there's nothing left to draw from. I'm really good at lying, though I'll only do it if it pertains to my game or when absolutely necessary.
I'm not so good at this: patience; I have virtually none of it. I also sometimes jump to conclusions. I forget to eat, sometimes, and loose weight a lot. I also have a bad habit of gaining enemies through my games. I use people a lot, though I'd never use those that I'm close to. Though I'm dexterous, I'm pretty terrible athletic-wise.
What I use to fight: I have two pretty little daggers that I keep in sheathes behind my back. Each one has two little pieces of metal that serve for good throwing weapons if need be. They were a lovely gift from Kei.
Oh, but I also have:
♠ - My cards.
♠ - My dice ( day / night ).
♠ - Black poker chips to represent years.
♠ - Red poker chips to represent months.
♠ - Djarum Black clove cigarettes.
♠ - Black zippo lighter.
♠ - A silver fork that he keeps in the band of his hat.
♠ - Dog treats.
Oh, did I forget something?: I usually have a black canine companion, replacing them through the years as they die. I always name them Cujo for laughs. My theme song is "The Ace of Spades" by Motorhead.
