Vegeta - The Prince of all Saiyans was orphaned at an early age, kidnapped by an Arcossian Warlord named Frieza, tormented by the Arcossian, then later found some peace on the Planet where the third-class saiyan Goku/Kakkorot resides.
Rumors say that he was born July 28, 1966 earth time.

Goku/Kakkorot - much can be said about him. Akira Toriyama based the DBZ legend after him, but the whole saga of Dragon Ball through to GT teaches a much more valuable lesson in monarchy and what monarchy was really about.
According to some movies made about this show, if you followed it carefully, you would know that Bardock, father of Goku/Kakkorot witnessed his son being sent to "earth". This was during an overthrowing of Government. Frieza, an Arcossian prince successfully overthrew the Saiyan Monarchy and made the saiyans his own race by holding the Prince of all Saiyans Vegeta, who was too young to rule at the time, and then killing the King of the Saiyans, thus making Frieza the new king of saiyans according to Divine Law.
When Vegeta came of age, he journeyed to where Kakkorot was, and called him a traitor. It was true with what Vegeta said because Goku's orders were to destroy Earth within a year. Raditz, older brother to Goku was the one to send the message that had been ordered by the Prince of Saiyans to relay this order. Goku was a third class soldier, a commoner.
A commoner in a monarchy government had no say whatsoever how to act really. They were to do what their King, Queen, Prince, or Princess ordered without question. Any disobedience was called treason.
Since Goku was a commoner and he failed to destroy earth when Prince Vegeta had ordered it, whether it was wrong to do so or not, Vegeta had the right to execute Goku for treason, as what happened in real monarchy societies.
A very educational program, one which even the creator of the show did not intend, but displayed anyway. That program was intended for an older youth audience in the end of it all. Anime violence, suggested themes, and mature subject matter were all involved in it.
A classic show nonetheless.
