Hi everyone! I'm writing a story and I am going to post up the description here, if I can get ten or more people who say they're interested, I'll post up more and maybe you guys can read the whole thing! I hope you like it, and please please let me know if you see errors or something that could be changed, I love suggestions!! So here's the description for you, hope you all like it.
Nicole believes herself to be the luckiest girl alive. Her mother has raised her alone for nearly a year now and money was running short, but in an amazing string of events, this horse-crazy sixteen year old girl's life changes forever. The next-to-impossible event of winning the lottery has fallen in their lap and from then on, everything changes as they meet friends, rivals, and romance in their new lives among the wealthy.
However, when Nicole sees a beautiful, bay show jumper being mistreated by a disturbing and slightly unbalanced French groom, she becomes furious, and she decides to buy the poor horse away from him so she can start a new life at their horse farm. After he loses his horse, the Frenchman makes another attempt at revenge. Now Nicole is completely fed up and wants him out of her life for good. She turns him in to the police, and when this unbalanced man gets out, how far will he go to get his revenge?
Soon, this young girl finds herself in a mess of complicated emotions, problems, and a devastating event that will change her view on life forever. Though the task of coping with the strain of diving in too fast, and the coming date of the first anniversary of her father's death, seems daunting, she looks inside herself and finds courage beyond her years.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this sounds almost identical to the plot of the book/movie entitled "Flash" with a little extra added on. Then again, with stroies centered around horses, there really isn't too much variation, consdiering it is quite a limited subject to write.
All in all, I thought Flash was okay, and this is average as well. Not to insult you or anything, its just my personal opinion.

I don't know. Thanks for the input, I'll have to see if I can read that book and make changes, I've never heard of it. Though I would disagree that there's a lot of variation in horses, there's almost an infinite number of things to write about so I might change the book from jumping to like cross country or something. Anyway, thanks again, it really helped!
