Well it might not be on my birthday... Might be a few weeks after it anyway.

I think that I'm going to get a tattoo. =)

I want either a dragon wrapping around my ankle and going down my foot or a scorpion on my foot.

I can hide it easily for work if it's on my foot, plus it will look hot with heels. =P

Birthday is October 7th

How bad does it hurt?

Can't really tell you know it'll feel. Scarification hurt like hell, but tattoos are different *shrug*

I've heard the foot is one of the most painful places to get it. I heard this cause that's where my first one is going lol. As a gift to myself when I graduate animal health technology.

So are you turning 18? Is that why you're doing it on/around your bday lol

the foots gonna hurt alot. anywhere without much extra skin or fat is going to hurt though.

when my fiance got his on his back he said it felt like a potato peeler being scraped agaisnt his skin

I have a tattoo on my ankle. I can't really compare it to anywhere else because it is the only one I have so far, but it wasn't THAT bad, and I have been told that the artist that did mine is "heavy handed". It is worse the closer you get to the bony part of the ankle though. I guess it hurt, but not so bad that I wouldn't do it again.

I actually had the opposite experience. On the firm part of my back, nearer the spine, mine barely hurt. But venturing into love handle area where I'm a little more pudgy HURT LIKE HELL.

It wasn't too bad though, really. Felt like a mild sunburn.

Yeah I'm turning 18. =)
I might not do it on my birthday because I might be going places and I don't want to be in pain. XD
I changed my mind, I want it on my back.
I don't have a lot of feeling in my shoulder blades due to a car wreck.
I want angel wings :3 They look adorable.

Something like this should be boss.

Then I suggest waiting a few months and thinking it over and making sure it's what you REALLY want. You'll have to live with this thing for the rest of your life. If it's just a current interest that'll pass.. the tattoo won't go with it.
