I'm a Sophomore, and I'm just starting Jazz this year. I'm also learning a new instrument (trumpet). I have been playing Mellophone for 2 years now (the fingerings are the same) but the scales and key signatures are very different. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. Any thing will help.

This is probably way too late, but I am a lead trumpet player in my jazz ensemble, and I feel it would be pointless to type all the advice I have (there is a lot), out here for you....however, if you have any questions feel free to PM me, I'd love to give you any pointers heart

Ive been playing french horn for three years now going onto my fourth and I just picked up the trumpet (I'm already playing many solos) If you got any questions I guess we can compare notes. sweatdrop
