What about field studies in another dimension?
As a field trip. It would be interesting to have the students go to another dimension, a land of dreams almost, where things don't quite add up correctly.

I like the idea! It'd be pretty interesting if every teacher was reversed in race or attitude.

How about a day were everyone turns opposite of who they really are. It's like a spell.

That was a cruel touch, not going to lie, not sure how that will work with the auctions either?
Anyways, I've got an idea for the more violently-inclined:
Gladiator matches
An arena enfused with soul trapping magic, so that people can feel the effects of real combat and die without actually dieing. When the fight is over, the soul of the loser can be reclaimed and reunited with the body.
Now here's the tricky part: Four people will be randomly selected from the school (inculding teachers, staff, and students), an from those four, a vote will be held on which two will fight.
And the screwball: Students can throw in bets for who they think will win. When a certain amount of money is collected, the gladiator who is betted to win will recieve an item or lifeline to help them in the arena.
