Coons has nothing to fall back on. He's voted lockstep with everything Obama has, and this does nothing but give O'Donnell a stronger platform over time.
Do you even know who Chris Coons is? He's the county executive of New Castle County. He doesn't have a congressional voting record! And if you read the above link to Real Clear Politics, as time has gone on he's polled better and better against her, not worse.

Too bad Delaware isn't a swing state. It voted for Obama by 25% and Democrats enjoy a double digit party identification advantage there.
