Amerald had opened his shop once again with the morning sun. Hours had passed and all he could really focus on was a letter sent to him a mere day ago. He found the letter that stated that someone needed to talk to him. He watched as customers flowed in and out of his shop, buying whatever they needed, no one truly grabbing his attention. It was rather weird to have gone through that event, getting some letter of urgency. But he tried to keep his mind on the people that flooded his shop as well.
He was asked many questions, comments, such as the day went. But he was never truly interested in anyone's personalities. He didn't know what was going on. Was he on the brink of exhaustion from all this work and no play? Or was he just too concerned with the letter to think of much else? Either way, it was time that he get up and do something productive than sit and wonder about the letter. He folded it up and placed it back into it's concealed envelope, placing it on the desk in front of him.
Midday approached quickly and it was time to restock the shelves. He quickly went downstairs and obtained the bottles needed and brought them back up, only to see more customers coming in. He smiled at each of them and then began to place the different bottles where they belonged.
He hoped that someone would now catch his eye, since earlier he had been fixated on that letter. Now his mind was finally getting off of it and onto actual work and maybe some possible play.
