She very well expected him to be happy about it... but it was surprising to see him react calmly. The act made her smile. Awww. "Pip, it is a bit late..." said the woman following his lead anyways. They would take a long route back to his place, scanning the areas for houses and such.

❀ ❀ ❀ || So the subject of her job came up after all... Though Theresa said trade, it ment basically the same thing. However, Avikna wasn't afraid to talk about her job. She smiled in responce to Theresa's own explantion. "Oh, A Daycare worker? I love kids." She nodded eagerly. "Well, I'm actually starting to work at the Bakery tomorrow." She stated. Oh, that reminded her! She hadn't went to get her scedual or anything... it was a holiday so wouldn't the bakery be closed? Oh... She'd have to go just incase, maybe the owner left a note for her? No, that be stupid.... The though of it made her rather worried. She looked away from Theresa holding a hand up to her own hair. "I should run by the bakery af---" She was cut off, when the anouncments of the winners were started. "Well..." She paused... that worked to her favor. Looking back to Theresa she nodded. "It was nice meeting you, but I should get going. So much to do." Her smile didn't go anywhere as she awaited Theresa's reply.

Jacob, who had been chatting it up with Yoakim during the entirety of the festival, only paused in his conversation to look over to the mayor, announcing the results over a microphone off somewhere in the festival. Who the hell was Aleksey? It wasn't who Jacob had voted for, but, eh, not like he cared about the popularity contest. He looked back to Yoakim just when he heard Kathie over the microphone. He grimaced and looked back at the speakers as if they would correct themselves but, no, it was most definitely a Kathie Waldroup. The unholy second daughter of his family that he wished never ever existed, even more than his older brother. He sighed and shook his head at what was undoubtedly Kade's soon to be source of excitement. Yeah, he wasn't happy at all. He looked to Yoakim and, with a hand motion to out of the festival, left to the Grindhouse to go drink before the whole day was up.

A cup of tea after a 'shag'? Kade couldn't prevent a giggle for that – so like Walter to have a cup of tea after making love. “Good thing Tess drinks that stuff too.” He said more to himself – really, he was more of a juice fan than tea, though he drank it a lot at one point. ..Mostly because he had heard it was good for health and stuff like that, but he hardly kept up with those sort of rumors much anymore. If Tess hadn't grown a taste for it during her visits with Gladice, then Kade doubted they would have any at all for Walter. He tugged Walter closer when the man leaned in for a kiss before they pulled back to go search for Junior, pausing only to wave off Dante and Ilya as they officially left the festival for their own fun. “And I can't wait to get you out of that stuffy uniform!” He said with a smile – especially at the butt squeeze~ Hey, who didn't like a compliment like that, mm?
He shook his head and was about to go on about Walter's clothes when the announcement came out. ..Aleksey? Oh! That was the sunflower man, wasn't it? He glanced at Walter – the man had elected him, right? Or, well, Walter and his friends, but close enough. Still, whatever excitement he had at that was instantly replaced with infinitely more enthusiasm when his name was called~! Or, well, her name. He clapped his hands together and even gave a small hop paired with a squeal, “Oh, my God, I won, Wally~!!” A silly title, yes, but, dang it, it still warranted a new nickname! Wally was so going to stick, whether Walter liked it or not. “I knew I could do it~!! You know, I've been trying for years? This is so wonderful!” A tight, giddy hug later to the man and Kade pulled away to glance over the crowd happily while he spoke, “Let's find Junior and head home, okay? Then we can celebrate~!” ..Celebrate meaning the same thing they were already going to do, but at least it had purpose this time.
Over where Junior was at, the boy was still awkwardly trying to socialize with Mitsukai. Unfortunately, considering how quiet and slow he was in those situations, he hardly got anywhere in the conversation at all. Just a few more stutters and apologies – until he heard the announcement. His father's 'name' came up and he smiled as he looked at Mitsukai, “T-That's m-my D–..” ...Wait, that.. probably wasn't the best thing to tell others.. He swallowed and looked away, “U-um, I.. I meant m-my.. f-favorite.. N-n-not that.. I v-voted for her.. I voted for y-your s-sister.. U-um.”
He wasn't doing too well here, was he? “I-I have to go, bye..!” He turned tail the next second and hurried off, blushing furiously in embarrassment at how stupid he had acted – until he ran into Kade. He paused, looked up to apologize and probably run off again, when Kade's hands shot out to yank the child into a hug. “Juniooor~!! I was looking everywhere for you! Are you tired? Let's go home, sweetie~!” ..Oh. Dad. He lifted an arm to pat Kade's back as he glanced over at.. Walter? ..Huh.. Kade pulled back and looked back at Walter, “Found him~! Ready to go? Oh,” He looked back at a confused Junior, “Walter's going to come home with us too. I told you about him, didn't I?” He waited a second for a quick nod and smiled, leaning over to Walter to whisper, “He's a little quiet.” Just so the man didn't take offense or anything. He took Junior's hand and hooked his other arm with Walter's, “Let's go!”

“Oh – alright, see you around.” Theresa said with a nod at Avikna's words. The festival was closing, after all, and Theresa was sure Kaleb had already left. She was safe. She waved at Avikna before looking around for Kade. Jacob had already left with a friend, much to her disappointment, and Kade seemed to be going home with.. his boyfriend? Ah, damn. She couldn't go home then. She sighed – no friends to hang out with and Avikna was already leaving.. So, it seemed like the bar was going to have to bare with her for another night. She checked her wallet to make sure she had money for a drink or two as she left.

Finnian, who had been enjoying his conversation of normal things with the normal man, Yuuto, noticed quickly that everyone was dispersing. Ah! Was it over already?! He would have to leave before the last person left or else he would seem suspicious! Yes, right in the throng of the average crowd to better blend! He smiled at his suspected superhero companion and slipped his shoe back on, having been showing the man how normal the laces, leather, sole, size, and about everything there was to show on a shoe. “Well, good normal friend, I am afraid I have to leave you for su-.. normal everyday activities that us normal everyday men enjoy to routinely do on a healthy basis – such as proper nutrition and exercise. Good day!” He gave a small wave and, with that, left to go home to his inn room.
