The Academy is located near the base of a mountain hidden among the leaves of a remote forest. Essentially the main building is an old castle that has long since been abandoned by the government due to their inability to afford the maintenance of such an antiquity. However the strays see no problem in using its infrastructure for training young FCKs in the arts of physical and mental combat. After all, what is a few old outdated furniture and plumbing going to do to a bunch of cats?
