Godric-Evans Pond
A small lake spilling free of the creek that winds its way through Godric's Hollow, Godric-Evans Pond is home to quite a few magical creatures and is said to be haunted by a ghost with silver-paled freckles. It is rumored that the ghost is actually Lily Evans-Potter, who spent many hours beside the pond, reading while sitting on crumbling stone monuments said to have been built in Godric Gryffindor's time. Originally just "Godric's Pond," residents tacked on Lily's maiden name following her tragic death.
